If anyone is going to fish Dale Hollow, let me know! I have no interest in fishing the tournament at all. My daughter and son-in-law (and granddaughter!!) live about 30 mins south of DH. I would love to meet up and fish some. I could learn a lot from you guys!!

I ain’t got the slightest! I’ve never had them, but at that price, I might grab some anyway. For my waters (N Alabama), I’d grab anything watermelon, green pumpkin, craw color, white, black/blue. I really hate that for you guys! Like I said, I get mine next day (Atlanta to Huntsville, AL). @bishoptf Where do you live? I could only assume it’s not still in/around Auburn. That should be a one day ship from Atlanta as well?

There’s one in Knoxville that is huge. Can’t remember what they call It now. Has outdoor sports lessons, batting cages, fields for soccer (mini), tennis, etc… anyway, they have a really good selection for a dicks store at that location… They seem to always run sales, and a lot of the time it’s on 6th sense. I went to that Knoxville one and they had all 6th sense hard baits on special but 2, get one free. Alright, cool! Went to the shelf/aisle they were on, sign said the above, but then below, it said all 6th sense hard baits an additional 50% off…so, even though I have MS public school math, I knew that was a great deal…spent about $150. Can’t remember what all I bought, but let’s say I have the crankbait category covered…only wish they had crush 75x at the time…

They removed it from all stores, if I remember correctly. Started with the ARs and they decided to just remove everything. I still shop there, but mine doesn’t have fishing, so it’s for other stuff. I’m a baseball guy, and they have a really good baseball selection…

I read the title of the post and immediately thought “the clap” vs “chalmydia” To me however, I like em long. But, the best kind are the ones that make it in my kayak… kinda like back when I used to drink - my two favorites beers were cold and free.

Speaking of…clothings… I always seem to overheat even in just a she’ll. So, I wind up fishing in cold weather in a Lon sleeved hoodie. Which means I often don’t fish in cold (N Alabama cold) weather. Do you guys recommend the guidewear from Cabela’s?

The BPS around Gatlinburg, TN is bomb (maybe in Sevierville?). Wife travels to Knoxville for work sometimes and I go there. Also, the BPS in Leeds, AL (Birmingham) is pretty good too. I’ve found that the “actual BPS” stores, vs the “Outposts” usually have a much better selection. Also, found that one that is tied to a “mills mall” are lacking. In Nashville, there is one at Opry Mills.

I can’t remember where it was, but when I moved to NH from GA, I drove by one in PA and stopped. That was the biggest I had ever seen. The parking lot looked like it could accommodate a Steelers game… Can’t remember where, but it was awesome.

I live in Huntsville, AL. FedEx ground to me is the same as FedEx next day. I’m only about 4 hrs from their GA location.

I go to Cabela’s nearly daily. At least a couple times a week. I don’t buy from them often, but I do take advantage of some of their stuff. For the price point, the BPS XPS stuff isn’t bad. Also, if I need something, they’re close. If I don’t want to order, I will run out to Waterfront Tackle at Lake Guntersville. If I lm really wanting something, I can run over to TW brick and Mortar in Alpharetta, GA. Only about it 4 hrs from me.

I just got a new 6’6 just for jerkbait fishing in my kayak. I do not mind standing one bit in my kayak, and actually prefer it most times, even in rough water. I also tell myself while doing it (in the rough water) that it isn’t a good idea and I could get hurt or die…to which my response in my head is generally …and? 😂😂 @LrgmouthShad I will see how the action is while seated if you want (from a 6’6)? Probably this week/end…?

Can’t recommend one (yet). I have a MB Orochi XX Tour Versatile that arrived this weekend. Haven’t fished it yet. However, I have the same Dobyns and Victory you mention. I love both of those rods as well…
