  1. It’s all the candy canes they are eating.
  2. I only run ethanol free in boats, dirt bikes, lawn mowers, etc. I still use stabil ethnaol treatment as well. Just because there is not ethanol in it doesn’t mean you can’t get some water in it from the pump itself.
  3. @A-Jay gladly hi jack it! Anyway a dog can find a great forever home I am all for!
  4. @Scott F right now the rescue I got him from has a about 4 1.5-3 year old mallionis which I would love one of those after him but, I know I couldn’t give one the right environment to thrive. river is a German Shepard mountain cur mix. High prey drive very smart and protective. We originally were told he was a lab golden mix till we got him DNA tested. I always told my wife he never acted like the breeds we were told. He takes lots of stimulation and activity throughout a day. I couldn’t imagine what a Mali would take.
  5. I use the pit boss and 7” power worm.
  6. Thank you! I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and new years.
  7. I entered my first tournament in 2023 on a tough body of water with no bow mount sonar. (Long story) it was a buddy and ten boats out of 30 caught a scoreable fish. Only first and second had a full bag limit which was 4 bass over 15” we catch a scorable bass. looking forward I am hoping to do 2 or 3 in 2024.
  8. @LonnieP sounds like excuses! Just kidding buddy take your time.
  9. I have been married a year and 8 months. I have been with her 12 years though. We got most the bugs worked out before marriage. I messed up. A lot. When I almost lost her due to myself it was a wake up call. I put my head down worked on proving myself as well as getting her the engagement ring she always wanted. Two weeks after we got married she said to me” you can get that new boat you want we got married that’s all I wanted” a couple more weeks after that we got a dog which I always wanted. So I have been winning and I tell her everyday how thankful I am for her.
  10. @casts_by_fly I would love another dog. He is not the kind that would do well sharing in the house so we cannot. @gimruis mine couldn’t even care if I caught a fish. He’s more interested in everything else or sleeping. He will gladly help you with a sandwich though.
  11. @12poundbassit was a very hard go at first. He was completely out of control and scared for 6-8 months. We couldn’t have a better more well behaved and spoiled dog now. I am taking him to bass pro today to get his picture with Santa. I am sure someone will not read this and just jump right into a rant. He has his furever home and boat right here with me.
  12. Well after a a year and half of having him my wife and I decided it was time to take him back…… just for a visit so they could see the great boy he’s become! They had a toy/food drive so we loaded up a bunch of donations and River. Off we went. They could not believe the amazing transformation he has made! Hearing them say that was probably my biggest accomplishments this year. Yes, he is still with us. I wouldn’t give him up for anything and would move heaven and earth for him. We aren’t dog owners. We are dog parents he is our family. I’ve been watching to many pro anglers YouTube videos and needed a click bait title.
  13. Awesome boat! Looks extremely clean and well taken care of.
  14. When I was die hard into musky I had a note book of location, date, time, moon phase, major/minor, bait, bait color, bait depth, what structure it was caught on, lure retrieval and how big the fish was. I also added in any follows or lost fish. I do not think I’d be married anymore if I fished as much as some of you! She’s understand but, not that understanding. I do generally travel 45-60 minutes to fish. Sometimes up to 2 hours.
  15. @LrgmouthShad I understand this. When I was musky fishing 40-50 hours a week I could almost predict the fish. I also really need to step up my game compared to all of you!
  16. @LonnieP awesome! Glad everything went well! We all want to see pics haha
  17. I know some of you are still fishing. I know others have their boat in storage. I had the chance to fish 27 times this year. I was without a boat for 2.5 months. Now it’s getting cold enough where I won’t start getting out much till mid March. I may squeak out a day before the end of the year yet. How many days did you get to fish this year? How many days were those days fishing for something other than bass?
  18. @LonnieP how did the test drive go?
  19. I use mostly ultegras. Cranking, drop shot. Top water 3/8 jigs. I like how the feel and the price point. Spinners, jerk baits, pitching, bigger cranks. I use tranx 151s. could be doing it all wrong could be not. I have fun and enjoy the gear I use.
  20. @WRB I have heard of a shoe before in racing. I have heard good sticks as well. Hammer seems to be the new lingo.
  21. @TnRiver46 keep the change ya filthy animal .
  22. @gimruis if I go to MN there isn’t anyway i wouldn’t be musky fishing haha.
  23. I am not upset to catch walleye. Unless of course it’s doing a bass tournament on a body of water bites are hard to come by. Which I have done. Musky are pretty rare I even hook up with. Despite all the stories of the 50” musky the bass guys can’t keep off their lines I haven’t had this issue. (All heard while musky fishing)
  24. @gimruis Ironiclly northern pike are on my bucket list. I’ve never caught one. They are super rare in my parts. Northern snakeheads are also on my bucket list.
