they have a few spinning and salt models but typically a lot more daiwa available than shimano. one other thing to note these cheap prices come with the tradeoff of no US warranty support, I've never had a reel fail but it's something to be aware of with imports.

Import from Japan, though I think the exchange rate has slipped a bit, they're like $230 from digitaka right now. If you're looking for a lefty 7 speed Amazon Japan has 1 available for $196

Gen 3 Lews Speed Spool LFS, doesn't look like any features changed but the frame appears a bit narrower now and it shed a tenth of an oz. Still $99 msrp.

Still using mine but I wouldn't buy another at this point. Smaller and lighter options available even in the DC lineup. The performance is great but the weight and 200+ size frame are a little much

In the same camp unfortunately. In the past ordering Dobyn's through ALF would always ship in stock rods within 1 business day. My most recent order was placed on June 16th, sent over to Dobyn's by ALF on the 17th, and after multiple calls and emails between ALF and Dobyn's finally shipped yesterday July 10th. Per ALF the Dobyn's sales rep couldn't even find the order in their system and had to re-enter it manually.

Shimano Japan has a reveal this Friday (Thursday for us) looks like they're teasing a new spinning reel.

Water pump on the big motor broke we were never above idle speed. Thankfully amador is a small lake.

After a week of 110 degrees days some night fishing was the deal. Didn't take a ton of pics but all fish were on a 1/2oz football jig and basically clones of this guy, 2 pounders.

Wanted to try the Plano frog box for a while but the price was a little obscene even by Plano edge standards. TW had it marked $10 off plus the 15% 4th of July sale made it a little more palatable
