American Legacy backorder
They currently do not even have a functioning website. I am not surprised people get burned from them. Oh well, live and learn.

American Legacy backorder
Yes, and to each their own. I will never do business again with a company that holds money hostage for weeks. It was almost $900. One simple fraud threat and I had the money back in minutes. Go figure. Shady company, shady communication, and all they wanted to do was keep stringing me along for months. They won't get another dime from me just based on **** customer service alone. Sounds familiar...complete fraud

American Legacy backorder
I waited months on a backorder. Ended up canceling my order weeks ago. Was told refund would take a couple weeks to post. Still nothing. So, I actually just contacted them again today and threatened to turn them over to Chase for fraud. Had money back literally within minutes after sending that email to them. I will never order through them again. Horrible company. I ordered the same items elsewhere for the same discount and had them in hand within days.

Fishing sunglasses lens colors
Blenders are cheap. I buy them 3 pairs at a time on sale. They have great clarity and work incredibly well for fishing. I have a few different sunglasses from the major players. The only actual lens that I absolutely LOVE is the polarized happy lens from Spy. It is by far superior to my eyes than all others.

I received a free GLX rod in the mail today…
I am not sure what a business practice that I have zero affiliation with has to do with my own personal integrity. So, yes. Yes I would have. The fact that you are even arguing that shows plenty about your own personal integrity. Seriously, what kind of dumb question is that?

Fishing sunglasses lens colors
Green mirror will most likely be amber lenses. They would most likely be the same just fyi.

Integrity: Doing the right thing when no one is looking. Good job.

Fishing sunglasses lens colors
I find the "mirror" honestly makes zero difference. You can get different color mirrors on the same color lense. Get bronze lenses for shallow waters, and grey lenses for deep/offshore if you are going to have 2 different pairs. Typically bronze will come with green mirror and grey will come with blue mirror. But there are usually variables.

BFS Rabbit Hole
Does anyone run the Expride 6'8" light? Thoughts?

Supporting Local Tackle Shops
I quite literally never had anything less than an A my entire life. Not even an A-. I suppose he probably already knew what he was in for going into that deal. Started in the 7th grade. I still have and use some of the rods.

BFS Rabbit Hole
I ordered the Cashion TW exclusive 6'8" UL. What a dud. I knew going into it there would be fit/finish issues. Was fully aware of that prior to purchase. But holy crap it is bad beyond belief. How are they even in business? Outside of multiple issues, there are literally black nats hardened into the resin they used for the guides and reel seats. Literal bugs glued onto the rod. Maybe they are trying to preserve them for Jurassic Park? 🤣 Needless to say, that rod is on its way back to TW. Now to start the search over and find something different. Side note, outside of the issues, I would have returned the rod regardless. It is definitely way too light for a bass rod, even considering its intended bfs purpose. I would not recommend based on that alone. But for the love of god, that rod was horribly made. MUCH worse than the many reviews made it out to be. Nothing lost though. Free shipping both ways. I am actually glad I ordered it to see for myself. Now I think I need to focus on a light rod, more in the 6'10" to 7' range.

My 2024 bait of the year
White spinnerbait followed by a black/blue jig as a close second. White flukes accounted for most of my smallmouth catches as well.

I had a deal like that. New rod/reel every year that I got straight A's. Poor guy had to pony up $300+ a year for about 6 years straight. 😂

Your career paths
My career now is in healthcare, but I have had some really interesting jobs over the years outside of healthcare. Grew up on a farm, so from the start was no stranger to hard work. The coolest job I have ever had was working for Pacific Power. They are the largest utility on the west coast residing in the seven western states. My title was Hydro Laborer (worked on the lakes and dams), but I did a TON of different jobs everyday. Spent tons of time on the lakes on a tug boat clearing floating logs, installing buoys and swim decks, etc. One day I would be building picnic tables in the parks, the next day I would be running a dump truck and giant excavator. They would send me out with a decently built Ford 4x4 driving up and down the faces of the earth dams spraying noxious weeds out of a 500 gallon sprayer. I would participate every year in the annual tear down and maintenance of the 13 generators on the river system I worked (that was the coolest part of the whole job). I would travel to other states also doing annual tear downs. I would assist the fish hatcheries with their nets and also their annual derby for special needs children. That is actually how I first got to know Gary Loomis years ago. Being a local company he would sponsor that derby. I did all Kinds of different things working there. It was incredibly fun. I was outside 90% of the year doing hard labor. It was great. Then, I started in healthcare about 24 years ago. Went to the University of Washington and later became a CT tech. I've worked in some very crazy level 1 trauma centers. Now I run three different departments at a very large clinic in my area. We have 33% of the market share in southwest Washington. I am in charge of CT, Nuc Med, and PET CT now. I manage employees mostly now, but still scan patients every so often. Just last week I applied for an open position to be the manager of diagnostic imaging. That basically means I would become the boss of everyone in the various imaging departments at the clinic. Hopefully I am offered the position, as I would really like to move into project management in the future as our clinic is going through a ton of growth and is planned to keep growing quite a bit for the foreseeable future.

That's got to be why my favorite Dobyn's spinnerbaits are currently sold out.

I wished I have done it sooner
I just had a very good tackle shop spool line for me on a recent reel purchased there, as the line was free with purchase. I usually never do this and spool my own. Did not really pay attention as I was just excited to try my reel out. Was casting in the yard. First cast, bad backlash. Thought I am an idiot and made tension/brake adjustments. Second cast, bad backlash. Thought I was a real idiot at that point and made more adjustments. Third cast, bad backlash. Now I was really ticked off at myself. Got everything sorted and started checking the reel over really well. Discovered they WAY overspooled and that line was preventing correct weight drop on the spool tension. I was ready to throw the whole thing in the garbage. I removed a good 30 feet of line, and everything was perfect.

Cashion Icon vs. Dobyns Fury
I just ordered my first Cashion. Should be here Saturday. Understood going into it about fit an finish, but from what I have read they get nothing but praise. And supporting a smaller USA company...I am all about it.

I wished I have done it sooner
I have never had the need for such a gadget. I have never been stripping line for the 1 minute it takes to do it by hand and thought to myself I wish I could do this in 5 seconds.
