Looking for comparison photos Met b and Curado 70 mgl
Wow thank you. You are the best! I really appreciate the break down. I was debating on two met b's vs one of each. I have a 70 already, but sold my last jdm met b awhile ago thinking I wouldn't need it and no longer have it for comparison. Of course now I have two new rods and am kicking myself. It has been awhile, and could not remember exactly how it felt. For some reason I remembered the met b palming a bit bigger than the curado. I wasn't sure if it was in my head. Thank you for confirming.

Looking for comparison photos Met b and Curado 70 mgl
Does anyone own a '20 met b and the newest curado 70 mgl that could take some side by side comparison photos? I am looking for overall size reference between the two and height reel would sit above reel seat. I am assuming the met b is just a tad bigger. I have not been able to find such comparison on google. Thanks in advance.

spring time isn't all reactive bass, and fresh flowers...wind.
My last two trips out were a complete waste of time which sucks because I have missed some great opportunities on some very large fish. Make a cast, blown into a tree, reset, repeat. Complete pita. I need a pedal yak.

Best technique to catch trophy bass
I am of the rule of thumb that BIG baits catch BIG bass. But also, TINY baits catch big bass. The "normal" size baits have never worked for me catching lunkers.

The latest sale thread
All this ALF talk just confirms what I was arguing a couple months ago. Shady business practices. I don't understand how people continue to support them. They will never get another dime from me.

Lol I don't think the Chad shad sinks fast enough!- Tackle warehouse backpack or other small tackle bag
This is what I use when this type of minimalism is needed. Holds two 3600 boxes. https://www.basspro.com/p/bass-pro-shops-advanced-anglers-sling-pack I actually have a whole system based on 3600 size boxes which I much prefer. I also utilize these two bags for a total of three. This system works very well for my various needs and stores pretty much all of my bass tackle. The backpack fits 12 boxes, the smaller bag fits 8, and the sling pack fits 2. https://www.basspro.com/p/bass-pro-shops-advanced-angler-pro-backpack-tackle-system https://www.basspro.com/p/bass-pro-shops-advanced-angler-pro-large-3600-tackle-system- Should I be using Polarized sunglasses whilst fishing?

I have this old brown colored graphite blank 7 foot medium rod that has conquest written on it with not much more information. I have had it since probably 1997ish. I bought it new in Utah at a sporting goods store. It is very parabolic, but not a noodle like a glass rod. Honestly it is one of my favorite rods to fish with. I have actually tried to figure out the maker in the past with google searches with no luck. I do not know if conquest is the brand or if it is the rod line. There is very minimal info on the blank. It is a manufactured rod though, not something custom. I have caught many bass and smaller tiger muskie on it.- Starting Tackle Company and Looking for Glide Bait Advice
I would focus on a couple different versions. Floating/sinking and a tight glide vs a choppy wide glide. Water temps and time of year play a huge part on choosing a glide with minimal movement vs erratic action. Soft tails are important. Read that again. Hard fins (dorsal) on baits that are taller top to bottom such as the bigger blue gill glides can make it much harder for the fish to effectively eat and get their mouth around. IMHO all protruding fins should be made of a soft material. Sinking glides need to sink evenly. Not nose up or nose down. If an angler wants to change that, it can be accomplished with lead wire or stickers. That is unless you are specifically marketing that action and you will need to show consumers how and why that works better. Rotating hook hangers! Helps keep the fish pinned and helps eliminate them from gaining leverage on the hook. You need the wow factor as baits catch anglers much more than they do fish. Give them some crazy awesome killer paintjobs for them to really catch the eye of the consumer. You are going to need to come up with something new and different, or all you will be doing is just trying to sell your part of the market share competing with everyone else selling pretty much the same thing. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but you stated you wanted to be different in the approach. Point blank...I do not see anything special about the prototype above that jumps out at me and would make me want to buy it over something else. Unless the price comes in as something much more affordable. This does not include the consideration of small business vs bigger companies. I am speaking in generalities of comparing a bait to a bait. I most always choose to support the little guy. BUT, all that said, there is only so much you can do with a glide. Make it durable, give it quality hardware, and enter the market at an affordable price. A Spro KGB Chad Shad is a good bait to try to mimic and make better. A chad shad with a tail that doesn't distort in a normal tackle box would be where I would start. The paint brush tails are great, but they can be cumbersome to store. Maybe some sort of easily removable tail for storage?- Favorite tackle box/bag?
I second this. My son and I both own this bag. I also own the larger backpack version. I fit twelve 3600 size boxes in the backpack. Though ours are the newer design, but its the same bag. The face of the outside pockets have changed a little from this picture. And the color.- Life time warranty’s?
Nothing has changed. I just warrantied a salmon rod about a month ago.
