  1. Well worth the money... Dividers are much easier to use and don't warp like the older clear Plano boxes... They are well built and should last many years..
  2. I don't fish hollow body frogs.. But I fish Keitech noisy flapper frogs all the time.. I'm will be upgrading my orocchi braillist to an 894 for frogging duties this season....
  3. I carry 4 to 14 rods on my kayak... 894 N 873 are completely different... 873 is way more parabolic and will not be as good in heavy cover... I use my 873 for any baits that I'll be dragging along the bottom (football jig or 10" worm).. 894 can do everything an 873 can do and some...
  4. Same as expride b but they have cork.. I guess not full carbon like adrenas..
  5. Sounds like you need an evergreen combat stick... If they didn't weigh so much I'd consider getting one.... I have a dobyns champion XP 765 cb that I will try out for 3/4 chatterbaits.. I normally stick to 1/2 only...
  6. Found it online for 30% off and free shipping...
  7. The action of the rod was a little too subtle for my liking... I've tried many rods for chatterbaits (883c, 893c, P5 javelin were too fast)... Expride 7'2 MH glass is still my dedicated bladed jig rod...
  8. Out of the box, not needed.. Fish away..
  9. I think you will be ok.. I would drag a 3/4 football jig on this rod... I wasn't a fan of how it handled a spinnerbait/bladed jig bc I have other rods that are better suited for them...
  10. 16 to 20 lb sunline Sx1 to 12lb sniper leader is what I run on my spinning setups...
  11. Yes.. It's been replaced with the new x10s that have now come over from Japan..
  12. It's my favourite nrx plus rod... In my hands it's my most sensitive rod.. I use it mainly for 4.8 Keitech swing fat impact... Definitely more a 4 power rod... I have it paired with a metanium hg... Balance is not perfect but being slightly tip heavy has never bothered me... I've used it for frogging, spinnerbait, bladed jig but it's mainly my swimbait rod... 894c is better suited for jigs/trig as it has a stiffer tip and overall feel with 1/2oz baits..
  13. You can find them on Aliexpress.. I got mine locally from an online tackle seller...
  14. My rod lineup... Mix of nrx plus, megabass p5 and orocchi.. Shimano exprides, Zodias and 1st Gen Cumara.. Dobyns Champion xps for cranking duties... Eventually will sell off my megabass and dobyns to get everything to shimano/g Loomis in the next few years...
  15. I use mine for BFS duties... Paired it with a Megabass P5 Xbites... I can toss 1/5 ned rigs with ease and up to 3/8 trig on this setup.. Of all the metanium variations, the silver paint on the shallow edition is the nicest..
  16. Comparing apples to oranges... Two different lines of rods... It's like trying to compare imx to nrx.. I love my braillist... Has ok sensitivity.. Great power and a nice tip for a medium heavy... P5s are better in every way... Hence the jump in price...
  17. They get paid to push and promote brands... Just like what the pro anglers tell you, take it with a grain of salt... If someone paid me enough money, I'd swear a bamboo stick is the greatest rod ever made..
  18. Do you trailer your autopilot? I've been car topping mine for the past 2 years.. She's heavy but I've managed to be able to easily load and unload it myself..
  19. Im not a fan of the new design... Same with the x10s..
  20. 2nd Gen Zodias have the carbon handles..
  21. My autopilot 120 was pretty heavily rigged the 1st year I got it.. I'll add some rear pacific yak angler aluminum to match my front tracks... Upgrade the stock switch for the trolling motor, did the battery side last winter... Aside from adding ffs or an NK300 are the only other things I will consider to do in the future...
  22. My 2025 aresnal is almost complete... Upgraded a few more combos over the winter so still deciding what reels I'll pair with what rod....but it's at 2 spinning and 16 baitcasting currently..
  23. Finesse baits on spinning gear.... Will try to target off shore smallies more this season...
  24. I'm right handed.. Use lefty reels... I learned how to use baitcasters on a right hand reel but eventually switched to left hand reels because I could not set the hook holding the rod on my left hand..
  25. Impossible for me to launch like how you did.. Mine fully rigged.. Maybe 160 lbs with all my gear...
