  1. Catt. Was that 10+ from the 1215 area confirmed?
  2. I'm thinking creek channels in the 8 to 12 foot range just inside cove mouths, consintrating on the wind blow side where bait will be stacked up. Crig and crankbaits is how I will be rolling, if I do go.
  3. Thanks gents for the kind words of prayers and comfort for my family in our time of loss. She is at peace now and in a better place and I'm sure she is on the water chasing them hawg's again. Let's not bog down the thread with prayers, if you want too give prayers please send them too me in a pm. Ok let's get the ball rolling I'm back home, weather says lots of rain and warming temps next week. Anybody got a clue for that condition? I know what I would do.
  4. No sir I'm in lake Arthur for my mothers funeral tommorw.
  5. True. But a wise man once said for every bass caught on the bank there is 5 behind him in deep water. Lol
  6. No problem long as y'all stay out the creeks on San Miguel for the next 3 to 6 weeks while I load the boat lmao.
  7. If I had to guess i would say he was sitting in bout 15 to 17 foot of water and casting up too bout 5 to 7 foot of water.
  8. Sitting on the porch drinking my coffee, watching a nice bass boat, looks like a silverish ranger, go around in circles scanning for bass on a main lake point. Amateur hour that you buddy lol
  9. Given the conditions I seen in the weather report, I wouldn't even get on the water. If you do becarful out there this lake gets mean real quick.
  10. I have always been of the mindset a point inside a cove is the secondary point. Meaning the second land point they reach before they hit the back of the cove. I would consider that lil red point just left of the red circle a secondary point as well. Put I may be mistaken in my understanding of it.
  11. That statement right there is why I think I do as good as I do on San Miguel. It's basically the only part of the lake I fish, since I live on it and I have spent every moment I can spare fishing it and learning it. Now I probably go out and get my butt whooped for saying that lol
  12. Yep sure am. In the area know as the pocket. I grabbed up a few from the buck brush the other day when it was nice out. Might have to hit it one day this week if it clears up and gets nice during the mid day, lil scouting trip, sling some baits and enjoy the water. Big spawning flat's in that area if you know where to look.
  13. I know where they got some grass lol. Might be some hydrilla gorilla's hanging out lol
  14. Seen on facebook the big pond gave up a 10 pounder yesterday.
  15. Catt. Get the at3 micro red dot sight. I have one on my 16 inch ar grendel rifle dang good sight. The dot at 100 yards is 2moa size, that means it covers a 2 inch spit at 100 yards, 1 inch at 50 and 1/2 inch at 25 yards. Shot my last 2 deer at 60 yards with it on my rifle and irs pin point accurate. Price with shipping should be under 100 bucks, lifetime warrenty on it as well.
  16. Give me a double willow and white and chartreuse skirt with a twin leg chartreuse trailer with silver flakes and muddy water and I will be happy happy happy.
  17. Best I could do, had a small window too hit the water. Won't be one the water again for a while, front moving in and deer season is drawing short.
