Matt 5.0 Thanks for that video post.My boys down in TX are all in or close pushing their 30's and they all skate.However skaters have a bad,bad rap down there.There is "bans" posted in a lot of places where skaters are known to hang.

Blue fox's spinners seem to run much better than mepps or panter's for me. Another favorite lure of mine is The Mangler...Type in that and a website should show up.

Yes,you got me hooked on yo-zuri hybrid ultra soft 6# test.Got it on my only spinning reel and the line performed flawless.I really like it over the mono.Even got my tube bait stuck and the 6# pulled out and bent the hook....i was amazed.Casting the line was SMOOTH as ICE! Chalk me up a believer of this line. Only thing i caught today was a 4 inch smallmouth..... ;D

I always have problems with them here. I just don't understand why they have to go across people fishing in the area and shorelines when they have the whole lake to play in. Besides it's illegal for them to go pass the docks and certain parts of the lake.Talked to one DNR guy out there once and he said they have to catch them doing it before they can do anything to them. >

X2 I still watch his shows...because some of the questions he answers are spot on.Plus it helps me remember what a fish is. I'd love to go fishing with him once.I'd bet he would make me laugh all day.

Doubt it,not sure why you mind it so much either.I rather have these kids talk about fishing online instead of go out and smoking and doing drugs.Some of these kids look up to you older guys on here(I think some of you guys have no idea!).Don't put such negativity in their heads because they like to communicate with other kids who fish on here. Some kids just like to talk or in this case type on message boards. :-/ And with that said....i'll be gone for awhile.Some more crappy stuff happened in my life and i'll see myself online a lot less for awhile till everything somehow gets back to normal for me and my family. I'm in a bad mood and if anything i said offended anybody i apologize.Didn't mean to hi-jack this thread.

I have to agree,hanging them up for everybody to see is sick and uncalled for.

Nah....Everytime i turn on a fishing show Quantum is mentioned somewhere.However i do think they need to start looking into a lighter baitcaster to compete with...that's one of my gripe is the weight of those reels.Plus the fact they seem to really pack that factory grease in the reels.

Some reason i hardly ever catch anything while it's rains.But 10-30 minutes before the rain the fishing is awesome for me.Usually i pack it up once the first drops start coming down.

This is getting ridiculous....I've canceled my fishing trips to lake erie,st. clairs and detroit river till further notice now. Almost got laid off as well today....I feel bad for the ones who did today at work.

Which reminds me people who order are usually pretty dumb sometimes too....My girl has also told me of stories of where people ordered a cheeseburger without the cheese...wouldn't that be called a "hamburger"?The people would argue with her for a few minutes over ordering a cheeseburger without cheese.I guess they thought they get more meat or something...who knows? Or the time where this lady stood in line in front of 20+ something people just to order coffee and complain how busy and slow it was.My girl near dang went off on her and told her next time go to tim horton's...they got better coffee and shorter lines. My boy once witnessed a 300 pound dude order 3 bean burritos and take enough hot sauce for 30 tacos and bean burritos.He kept thinking to himself "i sure hope he doesn't use the restroom here". Sorry guys i'm playing devil's advocate here....But i have been in enough fast food and just about every single one of my friends including my girl has worked in those places...it may not be rocket science but it sure ain't that easy.Plus someone working for minimum wage,there's only so much they gonna care about.

I love it when they screw up....i usually get something free when they do... ;D Honestly though,check the stuff before you leave...many of times i find myself asking for more hot sauce or sweet and sour sauce or where ever i may be at. All the Mcdonald's here give you ONE sweet and sour sauce per 10 piece chicken nuggets.Everybody knows it only last to 5 pieces if you are lucky.But that's McDonald's rules to their employee.How do i know? My girl used to work for them and she was assistant manager.Unless the customers ask for more all they are getting is one small package of sweet and sour.Perhaps taco bell may have a 3 package limit. So it's not always the employees part.

Feel your pain bro.It's hard to put something down you seem to get attach so quickly to. Lost 2 cats and one dog so far.The one dog i have now has hip dysplexia(SP) which basically is the joints of a larger dog going out(passed on by his parents which we knew nothing about).It's a long story with that dog and made me mad when i found out.I told my girl when it's time to get rid of the dog i can't take him in...I'm way to attached to the big butthead(my nickname for the dog).So i'm a bit different when it comes to death...i tend to stay away. My last dog i had for 12 years.....had to put her down and i cried that entire day.

April 26th here...I'm ready!Spooling all my Reels this weekend.
