Bull poop.....That didn't make any sense to me. I've caught fish on jigs in warm water last year. However maybe he's referring to the quantity of fish being caught.In that case a worm would probably outfish a jig.So that makes more sense when i think about it that way.

I'm with jake on this one.However it doesn't bother me if someone choose to keep a state or world record fish either.

Man i love the city....there's places to fish that people didn't even know about.Only thing is you gotta find those places. Plus i find that in the city there's so much more things to do and places are a lot closer to home.When places are closer to home you save a bit of gas...which is a plus side for me.

Nahhh...she won't kill you. I must say the biggest thing is that my tackle doesn't have to be hidden. This is one of our guest rooms, and getting the nod to have my boxes out in the open meant I had it looking pretty d**n neat! Now our guests get to sleep next to my tackle Does look much,much neater and cooler than sitting up on the shelf in the closet.

My jig bite has been slow so far this year which sucks because it's my favorite...They are hammering the heck out of the tubes right now.

i did something pretty similar to that.Pretty nifty i might add. My chick would KILL me if i had that much though....I got like 3 boxes and she's already griping about that being too much. :-/

Happened to me when i went to TX last may....I forgot to wear my hat and it was our first day there.My head was literally leaking goo.SO NASTY!Not as bad as your picture is though. Lesson learned..... Good advice always wear sunblock.

Welcome to my world...Got the same problem with trilene 100% fluorocarbon as well.Made a thread about it not too long ago. However for cranking i like using mono(12# test trilene big game)...specially when using treble hook type lures.I got a habit of setting the hook hard..so it cushions the blow instead of ripping the lure right out of the fish mouth.

I've closed the bail for as long as i can remember.I just hate the feel of closing the bail while reeling.Doesn't that wear out the bearing(if any) in a bail and helps prolong if closed manually.I imagine closing it manually helps keeping your reel lasting longer.

I'm using 15 lb test....Still having problems.Trying to cast 3/8-1/2 jig with a trailer...I should have no problems casting this on my baitcaster.I'm clueless...everybody seems to love this line.I don't. I love trilene's XL,XT and Trilene Big Game though.

yeah,thanks to RW he's already turned me to yo-zuri hybrid ultra soft for spinning...i love it.Starting to make sense in just putting it on baitcasters as well.

I can't control this line.I find myself tighten the brakes and cast knob and this line still jumps(losing distant big times).I'm giving up on fluorocarbon altogether.The most manageable line i've dealt with was the BPS XPS fluorocarbon...it was the only line that gave me the least amount of problems. Only thing i like is the sensitivity of the trilene line.That's where it shines the most. Is seaquar invizX any better?This is the only line i haven't tried that i want to before i just give up on fluorocarbon.I really like my fluoro for slow jigging techniques.

I ain't brand loyal.I got no reason to be.... Now if i like something and it performs to my expectations I may very well buy again. Then again i only live once...so i like trying new things.

I for one am looking forward to the E series curados.Even though it may be awhile before i'll afford one.The weight of my 200D citica was enough for me to decide to wait for a different reel.I still might try to pick up the 100D if i can find a good deal on one.

X2 i agree with catt..you need a stiffer rod.The guys you talked to were probably right.They were trying to sell you a stiffer rod to get a better hook set.However you don't need to spend a buttload of money.Berkley lightening rod 6'6" medium heavy action will do you perfect.i started with the same type before i for big into spending more money on my so called hobby(fishing). That rod you are using now is a panfish/crappie rod.If i have the same one it's meant to be used a a bobber type fishing.

Those beavers work anywhere... I just went through some of my tackle and i realize i have more beaver/craw baits than any other bait in my bag.

you will be very pleased with G-man's jigs.Trust me you won't regret ordering them.However you just might get addicted to those jigs.

A lot of the bigger sites do let things go.However here @ bass resource you really don't get away with it.Try posting "senko" as a topic and see how long it lasts.This site moderates threads very well for it's shear sizes of posters that do post here.The moderators here seem to have a 3rd sense in when a topic will go bad. However take bass pro shop forum....so many young kids are asking the same question twice which in return the older guys are firing back "didn't you just ask this question?'' in a semi-rudely manner.kids nowadays don't listen.Sometimes you just gotta do a little searching before you ask a question.I understand everybody starts out as new to the forum...but read some things before you ask a question. You can usually tell if you are dealing with an idiot when they start typing/talking.

Jesus! talk about some awesome advice these guys gave you teria.I don't think you are doing anything wrong.Hook sets are free...it's better to set the hook than miss a fish.You'll learn as you go. I hope everybody new reads this thread too.

while smoking pot is deffiently wrong your forgeting that monster and all energy drinks are loaded with caffiene(and other subtances)which is a drug that can kill you in large quantities but both can affect your ability to think rationally and function. also drinking 4 monsters within a short period isnt exactly smart either considering the can says no more than 3 a day Exactly my thought. Drink 4 monsters so they can DIE? I read an article of a motocross rider that drank 4 redbulls in 2 hours before his race so he would have a faster reaction to start and his heart stopped. The medics there saved his life and revived him luckily. I don't care how much weed you smoke, your heart isn't going to stop because of it. Weed won't stop your heart? How much you wanna bet? Smoke enough of it and you won't be able to breathe.Your brain shuts down and you become no longer rational thinker.You won't know how to act,walk or talk. I speak from experience....
