  1. Welcome aboard! Welcome back to Bass fishing... ;D
  2. Sweet!!! Maybe I can get increase my supply of gammies at rock bottom prices!!!! I've got some smoking deals on hooks from Wal-Mart and if they put all Gammies on clearence I'll stock up even more. The Super Walmart store here is in the process of a complete makeover. The fishing dept was expanded and now there's large selection of the hooks plus a decent selection of Zoom, Kinami, Abu etc. Walmarts price for the gammie hooks is just a few pennies less than the Bass Pro Shop nearby. All of our Wal-marts are turning into "Super walmarts" as i type this. It'd be nice if they expand their Fishing Dept. however last time i was there they reduced it.They went from two rows down to one. > I hope they change it when they are completely finished, but from the look and sound of things they said "That it". I now take the extra 8 minute drive to dick's sporting goods to get my stuff.

  4. welcome aboard!
  5. I lurked for awhile too when i first signed on.
  6. Just curious...is it even possible for a bass or any fish for that matter gag to death over his meal after being caught? How would you know? ;D
  7. Good to have you here!
  8. My brother was arrested and sent to jail twice because of the same reason with his Ex-wife. I watched Tila Tequila show once..... and all I'm going to say is the woman is nuts. :-X
  9. That sucks...Big fan of that show too.
  10. welcome aboard!
  11. Why do you think that is? I'm guessing you don't trust them either.... ;D There are other hooks much, much better than eagle claws.I rather put my trust and confidence in a brand i know won't fail me than eagle claws which hooks has failed me before. Their tube jigs, the hooks on them bend very, very easy...and they aren't the sharpest hooks out of the box. Like you however, when "fun" fishing for panfish with my kid I'll use those little bitty panfish hooks from eagle claws.Simply because they are much easier to find everywhere.I don't spend a lot of money for something like that. When it comes to my serious bass fishing that's when i rely on the better hooks.
  12. Did you try this with every brand of fluorocarbon line? Not every monofilament line stretches more than every fluorocarbon line on the market. If only fluorocarbon would cast as nice as mono would.I haven't found a Fluorocarbon line i can cast with ease, and if you look on the box a lot of them say "easy to cast" which is pure bull.

    Hello,welcome aboard.
  15. I made enough last year to last me 5 years.I don't buying them anymore specially when it is cheaper to make them yourself. I like to throw them when the white bass are running in the early spring at a local spot every year.It only lasts 2 weeks and then they just disappear. Walleyes & smallmouth bass like em' too.

You know what? That looks eerie similar to the Chupacabra that people try to describe. I bet i just solved the myth of the Chupacabra.
  17. I got 75 baits for $15...then add the $5 for shipping. Those baits will last me till next year. ;D
  18. Fishing senko/stickbait/worm type lures and actually catch something. I've been trying for awhile now(since 3 years) and this year i actually succeed in catching bass with them...Including my PB 4# smallmouth. I'm quite proud of myself..... ;D
  19. Hello! Welcome aboard.
  20. Once or twice a week...6-7 times a month.Depending on my wife. Last two months however i was fishing 3 times a week. Cold weather is coming for us up here(ice fishing anybody?)...so we don't fish year round like the south can.Plus from December to April(3rd Saturday) bass fishing is closed.I only get 4 month of serious fishing in.It goes by way too quick!
