  1. Reminds me of that movie Final Destination. Really does suck.
  2. There's only one person's job i wouldn't mind. Larry Dahlberg's job. His seems more like an adventure than a job.
  3. Ordered once..took me 2-3 weeks to get my stuff too.
  4. Really enjoyed reading his posts. He'll be missed. :'(
  5. I used all those pennies 2 months ago.... ;D
  6. The $5.99 a pack is turning me off.I don't think i can continue to afford these. And the fact i only caught one bass(9") on this bait so far, when everything else is out producing. Don't get me wrong.I'm sure there is a time and place on my lake when it will excel.I just haven't figured it out yet. I'm using Micro's suggestions of rigging from a previous thread.
  7. If that don't work, guess who's next to cut? Employees.... My old bosses/management did the same thing...They still had to end up cutting out the entire 2nd & 3rd shift crew. Guess where i was? 2nd shift. Perhaps it was because the Auto industrial was so bad. I've been out of work for over 6 months now... Where's the change Obama?
  8. I guess if you are a lure collector, you'll jump on this. Sounds like this thing will double it's value easily when it's sold out.
  9. Stay away from it....The action ain't as good as they say it is. I still have them,to remind me to never buy anything gimmicky while drinking and playing online. It's a waste of money.
  10. Just let them go.If what you are fishing for is "in season" then you are fine. Just can't keep any bass that are out of season, otherwise you'll be in trouble. If your wildlife guys see you catching a bass and tossing it right back in the lake...more than likely they won't bother you. They might ask what your target fish is,just tell them the truth. I fish for walleyes and believe it or not, they'll hit a few lures that are known bass lures.
  11. Good luck and be careful out there.
  12. Went out from 7:30am-1:30pm.Saw a bunch of bass just cruising around. They looked to be pointing at us laughing the whole time. I got 2 smallmouth to commit,my buddy got 1. Not what i expected either.
  13. There's always bending down the barb.
  14. I love this thing too.I have no idea where those bad reviews are coming from either.I've had mine going on 3 years now. That line stripper is a handy piece of tool too!
  15. Extremely important..... Without it,i doubt I'd be even catching 1/3 the fish i am now.
  16. Bingo! Right on the money. The right amount of weight will give the lure a shimmy falling action.Taking the senko for example.
  17. They are there...just harder to catch. I fish the same situations you do.I present different lures in different manner that i think everybody else fishes with. It's one of the reasons i hate fishing worm lures.Seems like bass have seen it all and know which ones to avoid. I also find that bass hold to really tight covers under pressure, because simply nobody is tossing into it.
  18. I've seen first hand what those rocket fishing poles do.They've let down a lot of kids by having so much problems with them. I think what some of the guys are saying is,why push a crappy product like that using your name. I understand it's all about business, but at least endorse something that is decent and works right.(This is where i kind of disagree with roland's marketing methods) I realize it's a kid's toy....but even a snoopy pole will work better.
  19. My wife's uncle reversed his...just last weekend he and his wife have a new set of twins in the house. So yes,i have no idea what the chances are though, but didn't seem to be a problem for him.

  21. Not me, I like the challenge. It makes you become a better fisherman and learn new techniques everyday. I like how you think.I have 3-4 ponds around here.Never fished them...pulling a limit on a lake that's got heavy pressure when nobody else is catching is probably my best days and memories. It means I'm taking the information i learned and applying it to what i need to do.I'm doing things right under the heaviest pressure. That's the whole purpose i come on here learning these things.I can apply the things i learn and take it anywhere. I still haven't mastered the worm/stickbait/senko.I honestly believe most bass around here shy away from them as they are more commonly used.
  22. Is it true after vasectomy, sex life is much much better? Don't ask me where i've heard this from....
  23. Factory baits last a long, long time. I can't say the same for the smaller homemade bait companies. Some reason the ones i got from last year are starting to break down, get slimy and stink to high heaven(not the good kind of stink). Don't get me wrong, they are awesome baits when i first got them,i just wish i used them the same year i brought them.Instead of throwing them in inventory pile.
  24. I have 5 tats...none related to fishing and one of them are too expletive to post. Ahhh...the wasted youthful years. If i had the money i'd probably be covered from head to toe in tattoos. No lie..... ;D
