http://www.cracked.com/funny-298-tattoos Found this article. I thought it was pretty funny and applied to this conversation. ;D

It really depends upon how you handle yourself. I have 4 tattoo's pretty large. One of them is half sleeve on my right arm. I enjoy tattoos but also realize I work and live in the real world. People may discriminate against me because of my ink. That's why all of my tattoos are easily coverable However I currently work in "corporate America" for a very large firm. I hold an important position in the company and have never had a problem with anyone because of my tattoos. The reason is that you can't see them when I'm at work. So go ahead and get all the ink you want and if your worried about what people may think of you, get them in places that can be covered. A long sleeve shirt does wonders.
  6. Got out today with Baboosic and had a pretty good day. Struggled at first but ended up with 12 bass as well as some pickeral, perch and bluegills. Here's a quick video I made for fun of the day
  7. That's too bad about Green's pond. I was hoping to head out there sometime when I get a break at work.
  8. I fish them on a 3/8th oz weedless jig head and have had alot of success this way. Hula grubs are one of my primary lures
  9. Welcome to the Forum. And check out the northeast section. We have a couple of good threads running from guys in southern NH.
  10. I've had more luck matching the conditions then trying to match the hatch. What I mean by this is I'm matching my baits to the water conditions- clear, muddy, greenish water, or brown? Also the weather condition, is it cloudy? are there waves? All of this comes before I worry about matching the hatch. Although I was on a lake just last week where perch were schooling at the top, and I only started catching bass once I tied on a Perch colored jerk bait and started to rip it through the school. So maybe trying to match the hatch does is right. Man, now I've confused myself
  11. My buddy heads out there on lunch breaks at work sometimes. He's caught a couple of bass there he says. I thought it was private, but he said it wasn't. If i get a chance I might check it out since it's only a couple of minutes from my office
  12. Nice fish Jay. For the smallies have you been having more luck on hardbaits like Jerks or cranks in the last week or plastics? I've been catching a ton of bass on jerkbaits, but the smallies have only seemed to hit plastics for me
  13. I love the Rocky movies. Classics in every way
  14. I really don't feel like arguing over a forum. If I didn't break the law then it really isn't anyone else's concern. This thread has been a place to share fish pics and discuss techniques for over 50 pages. I think we should just leave it at that.
  15. It matters to me somewhat. Mostly because I like to take pictures when I'm fishing. If I catch a lunker that pic may end up on the wall of my living room. I want to look at least presentable. Usually I'm just wearing jeans, a nice baseball cap, and if it's cool enough my Low Budget Hookers Sweatshirt
  16. The New hampshire Fishing guide says catch and release from May 15th-June 15th. It doesn't say that they have to be released right away. All fish were weighed and put right back in the water. If I am reading the rules incorrectly please let me know.
  17. Thanks guys. It really was the best day I've ever had on the water I think. I've caught some big fish before including another 7lb 1oz fish, but every other time I've caught fish over 5 lbs it feels like I struggle the rest of the day. This was the first day where I was catching fish all day and every once and awhile I'd stick a monster. I hope everyone else has good luck this weekend as well
  18. Got out today with my Dad and some friends for a bragging rights ad hoc tourney. Biggest fish wins $50. Man I had the best day ever. I Caught a my largest bass ever (tied my other PB) 7lbs 1z. I caught over 20 fish and my final 5 fish bag weighed 19.2 lbs. I've never had such an amazing day on the water. If you haven't guessed it yet I won the tourney and the $50 for biggest fish. Here are a couple of pics. 2 largest 7lbs 1oz and 4lbs 10oz 19.2lbs total
  19. Awesome fish. Too bad you didn't have a scale so you could know the weight for sure. A 7lber is a trophy sized fish for our state.
  20. yup. seen plenty in beaver brook. type of sucker I'm always amazed at how many different species of fish are in the waters all around me. I've never seen one of those before.
  21. I have 2 dedicated spinnerbait rods. Bother are made by EddieTaylor on this board. One is a med St Croix blank 6'10" for open water The other is a 5'6" med Shikarii blank
  22. Wow Eddie. I just saw this rod. Awesome work. I love the tiger stripes. Anyone looking for a custom build should really consider Eddie's work. I have 2 rods from him and love both. They are so unique looking and I perform beautifully. Keep up the good work
  23. I use to use one on my float tube. It worked great. I can't remember the model. It was a $90 eagle unit. I just kept a small rechargable battery I got at radio shack in one of the pockets.

Awesome Idea!! I think it's hard to come up with a creative fishing tattoo that isn't simply cheesy. This looks like a cool spin on the traditional armband. I have 4 tattoo's myself including a half sleeve and would have more if I had the money.
  25. Glad to hear things are okay Pain. Get out on the water, jigs have been the key for me lately. Hay Bass_tard, I'm finding the majority of my fish are in post spawn. It depends on the lake of course. I've been seeing a water temp difference of over 8 degrees depending on the lake. Got out yesterday and caught a couple more. So far it's been a great season. I can only hope the summer is as productive as the spring has been
