Muddy, If you are overflowing them then my understanding is that you are filling them to full. I've read you are supposed to fill them to the bottom of the vent holes. I believe that is to the bottom of the plastic insert.

I've stated my opinion on Nitro's, but it wasn't to give anyone an inferiority complex. If they work for you go for it.

I don't want to say your wrong Matt, but my understanding of the SAL program was that every fish is realeased after the spawn. They don't always go back to the same lake because it is the anglers choice where to realease his trophy. This is why a couple of fish have entered the SAL program twice. I may have bad info, and some of the girls are kept, but I don't think so.

I think he will be back. I just hope he makes up his mind. I'm tired of hearing this story.

I put my butter and garlic about a minute before finishing. Aboute a tablespoon right in the middle. Perfect.

We've had both commercial and club calf operations. Once I quit school my dad basically quit raising club calves with the exception of ocasionally finding good deals on heifers/cows that were bred to top AI bulls, but after they had that calf the cow is returned to the commercial operation. We also showed club calves and pigs. My family also cut an bailed hay for many big time beef breeders in the area. Most of these breeders focused on the maternal aspect of their animals and would spend big bucks to have thier hay and soil tested to no end. Also before I quit college I never paid a dime out of my own pocket. I went on livestock judging scholarships, and at one time was one of the best at judging livestock on the hoof. Of course, I thought I was the best, but you really could ask anyone that did this hardcore and I guarantee you nobody would of disputed that I was in the top 100 in the US. I guess you could say I was the KVD of livestock judging, jk ;D. I know a lot of that paragraph sounds very arrogant, but I was really very good. In fact I won my first ever college competition competing against both senior and junior colleges. I had only been talking reasons for about 3 months since I came from an FFA background and not 4-H.

I'm sorry, but you can't. I've been involved in the beef industry my entire life, and if you've been eating them well done with burnt edges you've never had a steak as good as it should of been. You can baby them all you want, but if your cooking them to well done you can take 5 minutes or an hour to do it, but your cooking out most of the juices. Either way I'm glad your eating steak instead of yard bird.

Med. rare/med is the only way to eat a steak. Well done w/ burnt edges is not going to be juicy, and is a waste of a steak.

I've only used KVD. Actually i've never even heard of the stuff vicious makes. Having said that though I can't imagine I would ever try it. KVD does exactly what it claims, and I doubt anything could work better.

The only one I've ever been in had a HORRIBLE hole shot. It wasn't a Z9(their top of the line) though. Also, I suspect that the hole shot issue had much more to do with BPS setup then a Nitro problem. I personally wouldn't trust BPS customer service or set-ups on bass boats. I would for sure buy from a dealer. Nitro wouldn't be in my top 5 of bass boats and probably not my top 10, but thats just personal preference. I think any boat company these days can deliver a boat that will meet the fishing expectations of 99% of the anglers. If you like Ranger I would strongly consider looking at Bass Cat and Champion. IMO, they offer a good compromise between performance and comfort that exceeds Ranger at a slightly lower dollar figure. Again just my opinion though. Ranger is a fine boat.

I found the picture of the 28lber. Some guy in Ga. tried to claim it, but trust me he was on a guided trip here in Tx when he caught it.

I don't know. Seems to good to be true. I was watching a Nikon D90 and the time reset from like 15 seconds to almost an hour. It was only at like 40 dollars for a camera that goes for about a grand.

Thanks to the Beast! My second Christmas exchange partner did a great job too. I haven't actually bought any space monkeys yet so he accomplished a rare feat of getting me something I didn't have. Its really all about what your friend thinks. If you move forward you better be ready to treat someone better than you ever have or risk losing a friend. If he is a true friend, regardless of what happens, as long as you treat her with respect there should be no issues. Take it from someone that has 1/2 brothers and sisters there is no difference. You also need to read and re-read Flech's post. He makes a lot of good points.
