  1. Even though women's basketball is the most boring thing in the world what Mrs. Summit accomplished is a show of pure domination, and I can respect that. Tenn. women could play St. Johns 20 times and never even come within 30.
  2. Paul, That is what I thought as well, but then I noticed the article about the floater was nearly 6 months after the catch and realease by Jed. Surely, he didn't think Mike was fingering him for it 6 months later.
  3. Holy mother of god.
  4. Sam, it really makes briad keep its color.
  5. When you are flipping for the world record bass on a bed, and someone comes up and starts casting at her as well let me know what you do.
  6. That was the second time they caught the fish.
  7. Natural, Brent from *** and I are making the drive to Kentucky together and I have one open seat. If you find out you can take the week off you are welcome to hitch along. Vehicle and boat gas would be pretty cheap 3 ways. Plus you would finally get your stuff back. Would love to go fishing with you again.
  8. Oops. My fault. I checked his profile before posting that, but looked at last post not last online. Sorry. Should of looked closer.
  9. Burley, have you actually tried L&L or are you just skeptical of the technology? Just wondering b/c based on my experience I can't believe anyone being unhappy with the product.
  10. Rob, was last online Jan. 31st. I'm sure he will answer your question when he sees it. I'm fairly certain that I've heard him state that it soaks into the line. If I remember correctly that is the entire point of putting it on well in advance. I'm also pretty sure I've heard them say that it actually makes line stronger by filling in/ attaching to nicks, abrasions and imperfections. I have a little more than a years experience with 15lb P-Line CXX as well and haven't noticed any breakage issues. I thought it was a great question, and I'm eagerly awaiting the response as well. I don't think your getting a lot of replies b/c Rob is the only one that can answer the question.
  11. Skip Bayless=idiot.
  12. I'm not doubting he can make 100 million. I'm doubting this deal could cost him 100 million. Lets say without this incident he ties Jordan with 500 million. Now with it he's only going to make 400 million. 20% loss in endorsements, I don't think so. Plus how much of that 500 million is going to come 5+ years from now when everyone has forgotton about this. I don't think he will get to 500 million though if thats all Jordan managed. Even if he does imo its inconceivable to think one picture is going to cost him 100 million when he's already pretty succesfully survived the DUI deal.
  13. His biggest endorsers Speedo and Omega have already came out in support of him. What about the DUI that didn't seem to hurt him? I can't see a 100 million either.
  14. WOO HOO. Just heard from Brent and it sounds like we are both in. I'll have my check in the mail by Wed. Ronnie. Look forward to meeting everyone, but I'm not sure about the 12 hour truck ride with Brent .
  15. Not exactly. He admitted to smoking out of a pipe that is usually used for marijuana. He stopped very short of saying that it was marijuana in the pipe. For all we can tell from his statement it could of been cat turds just as easy as marijuana.
  16. He has to test positive first.
  17. All reels you mentioned are good. If you already have a Revo and like it I would get another. IF you are throwing 3/8 with no trouble I can't imaging another 1/8 less would give you trouble. Downsize your line and make sure your rod is rated low enough to throw a 1/4oz so that your rod will load properly. Some of the Shimano guys will be along to verify this, but I don't think the 200's excel in light baits. I think you need to be looking at 100's or chronarch mg's if you go the Shimano route.
  18. I would get a Revo SX. You'll even have some change left over.
  19. Nice fish. I can't believe that first one wasn't 5lbs. Must of been short b/c it is fat.
  20. That always cracks me up as well.
  21. Seriously man, locate the period on your keyboard and use it.
  22. I'll give it a shot. I woke up with a cough that gradually turned into stomach cramps. The kind where you really need to go number 2, but there is noway it is happening. The slight fever that I developed later though helped take my mind off that. Did I mention I had to work today. Once of work I had to leave straight for an Indian food joint. Not bad on the whole, but I was going with another couple and an Indian guy from my wifes work. Since he wanted us to experience the finest of what his country had to offer we drove an hour to eat food that was most likely going to be very hit or miss. We drove past no less than 20 Indain places to get to this one. At least we the place he chose was directly throught the most populated, worst traffic area of north Texas, so we had plenty of time to discuss the restraunt we were going to and what we should eat. As a memeber of the beef industry for numerous years I mainly eat beef in an attempt to support my fellow beef producers. As a result I could pretty much go the rest of my life without eating chicken and not feel cheated. As a very interesting note Indians don't eat beef. Not the biggest deal, but apparently India is a very male dominated so the guy we were with insisted on ordering what he thought was good. Not the biggest deal, except that I being a picky eater, had spent an hour plus at work researching what had got good reviews at this place. Naturally, none of that was ordered and when I tried to speak up I was ssshhhed by my wife since she didn't want to offend our guest. The food was ok. The only thing that saved it was the amazing spiciness of some of the dishes. I love spicy. However my rear end is now burning from the d I just took. Note the earlier stomach problems.
  23. You didn't come off as a know it all in the least bit. Besides we all know you don't even think fish can see It has always been frustrating to me that water clarity seems to be open to interpretation. With as detailed as we get about every other little thing about our "sport" it surprises me nobody has came up with a guideline for water clarity so that we can all be on the same page when discussing it. If I was 5 or 6 times smarter and less lazy I would do it myself.
  24. Fourbizz, I'm not suprised at all in your difference of opinion. When I started to seriously get into bass fishing it seemed water clarity was the only thing I couldn't get a ton of info on. You can read all day about structure, cover, lures, rods, reels, line, boat and weather conditions. However, it seems it is just up to the angler to decipher the difference between clear, stained, dingy and muddy. Even though brief, I believe that your description of what constitutes dingy vs stained to you is the first attempt I've heard at it being explained.
