  1. Micro, Have you fished that yet? I've been wondering about them.
  2. I think it was Hank Parker that had the Auburn coach on one of his shows, and the coach was fishing with an Auburn rattle trap. That show is what really confirmed my belief that 99.9% of the time color doesn't mater. Know if I can figure out why I still buy one of every color I'll have everything down.
  3. I didn't read all the replies yet, but my opinion is that any time spent on the water tournament or not makes you a better angler. Some might be slow learners, but your never going to get it without going out and attempting.
  4. The spinnterbait is going to add a lot of additional weight making it difficult, if not impossible to keep the buzzbait on top. At least thats whay I think.
  5. That sir is hitting the nail on the head!
  6. Mack Brown is the coach at UT.
  7. I hate the look of the steel/aluminum shaft.
  8. ^^^^Yup if your upgrading to fiberglass don't chance not having enough truck. You might find a deal on a 20 footer.
  9. Thats horrible. Glad everyone was ok.
  10. The Academy brand H2O Xpress makes a very nice square billed crankbait believe it or not. Lots of color choices and @ roughly 3 dollars you don't feel bad when you hang it. I'm also not just recommending these from a value standpoint. They are very good cranks.
  11. Robert, Are these high end foreign reels more sensitive than say a G Loomis? I'm just wondering about the huge price jump from the rod you posted and a Loomis. My guess is that both are equally sensitive, but you pay the bucks for the bling. Thanks Matt
  12. Wow..very cool.
  13. Poppers, flukes and suspending jerkbaits.
  14. It's a nice reel. However, I think my SX's put it to shame. The SX can cast a ton further. Both great reels though if you don't won't to spend the extra 50 bucks or so.
  15. Not that you care or need my permission, but I have no problem with your stance. In fact I wish people would show evidence that they could be trusted with this responsibility. Most probably due, but its the few bad apples that ruin it for everyone.
  16. I agree 100%. I own guns, but I don't see the point in owning an uzi. C'mon man give us credit for having some brain cells. Of course more kids are killed by cars. Wvery child in America comes in contact with a car every single day. The same can't be said for automatic weapons and kids fortunately. Using your logic I say we start letting kids fly planes. Very few kids were killed flying a plane last year.
  17. Nice!!

Awesome man. I'm very excited for your family.
  19. If my understanding about the emergency heat is correct, and please understand that i'm assuming that what you are calling aux. heat is the same thing, than you will not necessarily freeze. The emergency heat if i'm correct is ran in that mode to protect the outside unit more than it is to provide more warmth. It will warm a 45 degree room to 70 faster, but once it gets there 70 is 70. I think manf. recommend em. heat so the outside unit doesn't freeze up. Very few of my homewoners know to do this, and I don't ever remember someone telling me their unit frooze.
  20. If I could somehow get the state or world record fish donated to the Sharelunker program alive, and have all the neccesary documentation done so that I realize all the financial benefits of catching it then I would for sure go the replica route. I'm just not sure that is possible. I'm very skeptical that anyone catching the world record fish would take a pic and release it back to the water. I'm sure some probably would, but I don't think you can say for sure until you are wearing those shoes.
  21. Fisher, You should adjust your unit if you are going to be gone long periods of time. Like you are for work. Don't worry about it though if you are going out to run errands for a couple of hours. Never adjust more than 5 degrees. Anything more than that and the unit has to work too hard to adjust the temps back up so you will lose any saving that you had at the lower temps. If your unit was blowing air everything is most likely ok. If you are used to gas furnaces the air is going to seem cool until you get used to it. However, a heat pump will not dry everyting out like gas. Your home will be more humid and the winter dry skin should lessen. On extremly cold days when the highs are like 32 or so the unit should be ran in emergency heat mode. This is probably the same thing as the aux. heat you were mentioning. It is probably also worth a call to the manf. to see what temp they suggest running the unit in em. heat mode. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Was the funniest thing I heard in a while Until that. ;D
  23. T-rig I haven't had any luck with my OSA yet. Do you always fish them with the snap. I haven't fished it a lot.
