  1. She's fat. Way to go.
  2. The bait monkey ain't going after no free lure. Its bad business.
  3. Awesome FFD. Keep taking them to school.
  4. Awesome fish!!!! We don't have musky down here but I wish we did. Also I've heard about the cowgirl several times now from the musky guys, but haven't wrapped my mind around the figure 8 yet. What the heck does that mean?
  5. Spawn didn't get into full swing this year until well into April. Don't go counting on spawn in March.
  6. Wow, dude thats a pretty big question to trust with someone over the internet that may or may not know what they are talking about. You need to call a certified mech. for your brand of engine right now and ask him.
  7. That might get my wife into fishing.
  8. Rapala's are very nice if you consider them cheap. I would say they are more like on the bottom end of expensive. Very nice though. As far as truely cheap everyone really needs to try Academy's H20 Xpress cranks. Good colors and run great. I probably would of never gave them a shot, but fished a buddies all day before I figured out what it was. The square billed ones bounce of timber very well.
  9. I hope you are feeling better. That is a great story. Sounds like you guys got a little lucky. Looking back on it now are there any obvious signs of an approaching storm that should of keyed you in?
  10. What I think is crazy is that the university gave him a huge extension in 2007 to keep him from Arkansas and then this year they think he is the problem. Anytime I see logic like that I'm going to fall on the side of that even if the coach was part of the problem there is a bigger problem out there.
  11. There a little closer to us these days. Glenn, probably doesn't want to drive to OKC to support them.
  12. Wow. thats a good picture right there. Love the red trees. Good idea for a thread.
  13. Wow. Talk about a post that won't die. This is from 2005.
  14. Saw it for 2.89 here. Felt crazy for being so giddy about it.
  15. I for sure wouldn't eat it no matter how good Micro says it is.

I would call Garnet beind dominant a strech personally. Don't get me wrong he's one of the best players in the league. However, he was on several bad teams, never made the finals in Minnesota and is often criticized for disappearing in big moments. He's almost to much of a team player. He wants to keep everyone involved to the point of hindering his own domination. I wouldn't even make a big argument if someone wanted to say he was the best player in the league, but dominant is not the term that comes to mind.
  17. Dummy. ;D . Close quarters fishing where accurate casts or a soft entry is important. Think trying to hit holes in vegetation, certain stumps or posts on docks. I'm not good on trying to explain things, but pitching is basically an underhand cast. Usually anywhere from 5-20'. Once you get the hang of pitching it is easy to pitch further than 20', but somewhere around there I'm guessing that accuracy is going to start diminishing for most people. I don't flip so I will let someone else give it a try at explaining that.
  18. Totally agreed. I'll be the first to admit to say that I'm an average fisherman might be a stretch. However, one thing I can do is pitch. I learned how to do it well very quickly. You have to let the rod do all the work. It became very easy for me once I read somewhere that you need less line out for distance. It seems that if you start with more you should pitch farther, but thats not how it works. The more line out the harder it is to get the rod to load. The article I read to said to never have line out past your reel. I usually try to have enough line out to stop 12-18" short of my reel. I hope the tip help you as much as it did me.
  19. I can't express how much i'm impressed with Rod's companies. I've used both the BTS and KVD L&L this year with great results. Both products work exactly as advertised and exceeded my expectations. Thats saying a lot b/c I finally tried L&L after hearing nothing but raves for several months. Then I was so impressed with L&L I decided to give BTS a shot. After the huge success of L&L I was really expecting BTS to be great, and once again the managed to exceed my expectations. Thanks Rod.

Awesome fish! I was just wondering earlier today where you had been.
  23. This is crazy but I bought 4 Sammy's. Probably a year and a half ago. American Shad, Aurora Black, Ghost Minnow and a crazy lime green, yellow spotted thing. Tried the American Shad first and started catching fish. Haven't touched the other 3 in a year and a half. The American shad has teeth marks and chips all over it, but it still catches fish like that first day. Color has little to do with it I believe. The bass sees a wounded fish struggling to stay alive and is going to eat it come he!! or high water.
  24. I like the idea of taking the 5 minutes you use reading this thread and downloading RW's site to get a scale the next time your in Wal-Mart. Then you know for sure.
  25. I HATE "There are two types of fish:bass and bait." Seriously, I could go the rest of my life w/o hearing a bad day fishing beats a good day at work. I've understood that for a while now. I need people to stop telling me.
