Playing ripped DVD's
ok but the thing is, after i DVD shirnk it, there are a bunch of video_ts files and audio_ts files, i would think i'd have to get them all into one file in order to put it together as a whole on the Zune. is this correct?

A Swimbait in the Making--FINISHED
okay guys, follow along here... i am gonna make a lipless swimbait and document my progress here. whether it works or not i do not know. but here goes... i started out with a piece of 5"x7"x3/8" basswood plywood. i cut it in half and sketched out the shape of my swimbait on one half. then i roughed out that shape and then did some refining to get it how i wanted it. i then traced it on the other half, roughed it out with a hand saw and used rubber cement to temporarily attatch it to the other half. then i went in with a dremel and refined both halves so they were exactly equal. here are the two halves, glued together, and refined (still pretty rough): leaving them together, i rounded off all the corners, tapered the head and tail with the dremel, and then did some hand sanding with 80 grit paper. i also marked where i will cut the joints. side view: head on: tail view: later tonight or tomorrow morning i will cut the joints and shape them. to be continued...

lots of places around here sell them true value sells the most of them. they are actually VERY common in my area because i live on the chesapeake bay and these are a very popular bait for big stripers.

- Does Anybody Still Use These?
does anyone still use these tackleboxes? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_30067_100011009_100000000_100011000_100-11-9 im sure all of our dad's had one (mine did, so did my grandpa), but i was just wondering if anyone still uses them. they seem kinda out dated...- storing plastics
original bags (which in the case of *** is just sandwich bags) in the deep side pockets of my tacklebag. only downside to this is i can only cary a few packs with me. thats not even much of a downside because i usually only use two or three styles of worm per trip.- Load of Cranks
how do you make them all so identical in shape?- Fireworks
arial based fireworks are illegal here, but ground based fireworks were just legalized a few years ago. all we can have are hand held sparklers and ground based fountains which just sit there and shoot sparks up.....boring! we cant even have bottle rockets or fire crackers!!! but im going to a minor league baseball game (new team, Blue Crabs, stadium is 15 min from my house and we're getting free tickets) and there will be a fireworks show there.- Okeechobee Fats T1200
i weighed mine in at 19lbs 9oz fully loaded. guess mines not quite as heavy as some, but im not sure if i wanna take this with me shore fishing.- Been missing...
x2. this especially happens if the bluegills are spawning. last time i was out, i can remember casting to the same spot repeatedly and always getting a small hit. after about the second time i realized there was a bluegill spawning bed there.- BR Elite member-July 08- Sam !!!
i've always found Sam to be very helpful. he definitley deserves elite member.- Okeechobee Fats T1200
just loaded it with all my terminal tackle and hardbaits. i put a few packs of *** in the deep side pockets, and im gonna put some tools and bandaids in the front pocket.- Toads, A Comparitive "Study."
and you must be bored to write such a thing! cool!- Okeechobee Fats T1200
yeah, i bought it as a place to keep all my tackle, and then when i shore fish, i can take out whichever boxes i'll need and just carry those.- Okeechobee Fats T1200
got one of these bad boys today at walmart for 45 bucks. sure has lots of storage. what the heck am i gonna put in this thing?!?!? and how much does yours weigh fully loaded?- Awesome people, lots of fun.
that tap tap might be small fish biting your worm and not the hook, so when you snap your rod back, they rip the worm off the hook. try using parasite clips (www.parasiteweight.com) and try waiting a few extra seconds while the fish is tapping on your worm before you set the hook.- Premium rods and reels for children?
high end gear is easier to learn with. IMO the only reason anyone should use low end gear is when they are trying to see if they going to like whatever it is they are buying. many people will buy junk when they start out, not like the junk, and then not continue with whatever it is they were starting. i fished with a procaster and lightning rod for a few months, got the hang of baitcasting pretty good, saw that it was time to upgrade, and got citicas and avids. higher end gear = ease of use = pleasureable experience - Does Anybody Still Use These?
