  1. i broke the lip on a LC pointer after casting it onto a dock and i sent it back and got a new one.
  2. polarized sunglasses are a must. i currently wear a $20 pair from walmart and they sure do get the job done, but i would like to upgrade to some oakley half jackets.
  3. ;D ;D but really some ********* just released it from their aquarium.
  4. lead sinkers work too...
  5. rapala DT Fat 01's are freakin huge crankbaits. biggest ones i have in my box. despite their name they don't dive to one foot but more like wake the surface. they have a huge roll to them and definitely call up some fish. the DT Fat 03 is an average sized crankbait, about the size of other DT's but much much more round bodied. it dives to about 3 feet as advertised. it rattles, which i like (DT 01 doesn't rattle). i have one DT Fat 03 and it is without a doubt my favorite crankbait i own.
  6. i've had that happen on very few other sites before but never this one. when i'd roll over the random word thats highlighted it would pop up like some kind of bing sponsored results thing. but i've never had that happen on this site. i think it has to be built into the site unless you have some kind of malicious software like shad master said.
  7. they all work. green pumpkin and camo are tried and true colors.

  9. "cheap but accurate scales" don't exist ;D i like my berkley digital lip grip a lot!
  10. its easy, whichever one you fish with the most! it was a very close call for me, between plastics and crankbaits. i went with plastics because i probably fish with them more. but without a doubt all my biggest fish come from crankbaits, i don't think i've caught a fish 4lbs or larger on plastics.
  11. thats a Central Mudminnow, Umbra limi.
  12. try using a lighter weight and/or pegging it.
  13. it will come off eventually but you can always just touch it up.
  14. nice fish nice pics!! how much did it weigh?
  15. i've made fur jigs before... never fished them though. oh and a fur spinnerbait
  16. i like em both. experiment with different sizes and styles of mesh for your scales
  17. usually i feel them as they are crawling on me before they bite. nothing ever hurts though, occasionally one will be itching while its still in but usually the bite doesn't itch till you take the tick off. its not unusual for them to go unnoticed though...
  18. you act like you've never had a tick there before... : ;D
  19. i bet the guy in #3 has never felt more relieved in his life after that plane passed by.... awesome stuff.
