  2. loving the scales on the top one. you must do a tutorial!
  3. haaa nice story. pretty sure you did the right thing. you'd have looked like a jackass punching out 16 year old kids.
  4. 7" yum dingers are a whole lot thicker than 5" yum dingers (which would be comparable in size and weight to 5" senkos). 6" ruler, 5" yum dinger, 7" yum dinger:
  5. haha i know this was a joke but you actually can extract the otoliths from their head and cut them in half and count the rings to tell the age!
  6. i agree completely with everything stated here! i use a 6'6" med. - moderate Avid though. pretty loose drag.
  7. well then... i dunno but i wanna watch Superbad now
  8. i use braid for EVERYTHING because i like the way it handles. NEVER had any problems with braid and cranking... go for it.
  9. I refuse to believe you shave McLovin. LOL why?? ;D
  10. i run like 10 or 15psi when spraying fine lines, depending on the paint. normal spraying pressure for me is around 25psi. when i'm cleaning in between colors after i get the cup all clean i will back flush it with water to clean out the nozzle. then i pull and push the needle back and forth in the slot (carefully!) to release any paint that got up behind the needle (towards the handle, not the needle). you shouldn't really have to run solvents through it if you're just spraying waterbased paints.
  11. HOLY S--T!!! Details please...
  12. i'd buy it.
  13. haha gotta love it! saw this pic today, didn't know the source until just now
  14. look into powder coating. thats the only way of doing it i know of...
  15. looks fake as hell if you ask me... :-/
  16. my friend sent me this link before i saw this thread on here: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/campaigns/our_boys/2956579/Sniper-Craig-Harrison-kills-2-Taliban-from-a-record-154miles.html in that article he says he aimed 6 feet above the target and 20 inches to the left. amazing shot!
  17. was it new or something? i thought i had seen it a thousand times? i know i've seen the nat. geo. one a lot, but i thought i saw one on animal planet too?
  18. from what i hear they're worth it. you should be able to find them cheaper than 17 dollars too, local store around here (that is usually overpriced on everything) had them for 13 bucks.
  19. www.predatorbassbaits.com has some nice models. never used them so i don't know how they perform.
  20. i'm surprised you haven't got anything on the live bait or the inline spinners.... that is usually what i catch a ton of them on. try a wooly bugger on a fly rod.
  21. +1 green pumpkin
  22. i use heat shrink tubing also, but, instead of hooking under it like in the photograph above, i hook straight through it, like you would normally hook straight through when wacky rigging. IMO this keeps the worm in place better than sliding the hook between the tubing and the worm, and it really makes the worm last since the worm can't really slide anywhere.
