I can't remember the name of the company sorry. I booked it through the resort's activity director. I remember it was $80.00 US for 5 hours, which is why the missus said I'd be stupid not to rather than giving me the stink eye. We picked up people from about 4-5 resorts (8 in total) along the strip before heading to the marina. It was a very professional outfit with clean, modern boats and Shimano and Penn gear. The only thing I wish I had known before hand was that they don't provide water.

Yes. Not much to do, the beach is everything in Punta Cana. You can walk for miles. I did go fishing one morning and caught a 60lb Dorado. It had the most reasonably priced fishing charters I've encountered in the Caribbean. Oh and Congratulations!!

I use the attractant, mostly as a lube on skirted baits and on unscented soft plastics. I have tried Cavitron buzzbaits, I like them, but what buzzbait fishing I do I prefer 1/2 oz. As others have already said, if you make a 1/2oz you'll have a customer for life. Haven't tried the Evo Jigs and shakey heads, they just aren't widely available around here. Haven't tried the soft plastics yet, but will pick some up when I start my tackle buying over the winter.

What is the difference between St. Croix's Gold Star Service Plan and G.Loomis' Xpeditor service? I thought it was $50 for a replacement under each plan? Pretty sure with the Gold Star Plan you have to pay shipping both ways, so it ends up costing more like $90 or $100. The big difference St. Croix has always had was the trade in and upgrade programs.
