What do you mean no dedicated coverage? You guys have ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, FSC, GolTV and shortly a second Fox Soccer Channel. That's a lot of channels dedicated to footie or with a high percentage of footie related content. Beyond that its simply level of interest - I'm sure there a people out there that know who's on their favourite baseball team's Single A farm team. Once you start getting into something these type of things become second nature.

Liverpool fan here. Love footie - along with hockey the only sport I watch regularly. I like to watch La Liga and Serie A as well but the rampant racism in sections of their fans is a real turn off. Can't wait for the World Cup - best month of sports there is.
