  1. You might be a redneck if...........
  2. Hate to beat a dead horse, but I would go with 14# Trilene XL. It will make the transition to baitcasting gear much less frustrating. I would avoid 100% flouro or braid until you get the hang of the baitcaster or it could get pretty costly.
  3. Snag as many as you can. These are some bad dudes
  4. Winner Winner. Cuts from japanimation to crying Butters with throwin star in his eye. So awesome. Also, same episode Cartman uses his powers of "invisibility" and "sneaks" buck *** naked across the stage. And then there's this episode
  5. 1. Soundgarden 2. Jane's Addiction 3. Wilco 4. Modest Mouse 5. The Pixies
  6. Yup, pretty sure a high percentage are gonna say STX. That thing will haul out an F-150
  7. Already cost me a couple mornings at the lake bc I was up all night playing. One of the best sports games in recent years IMHO. Anyone else playing this? What do you think?
  8. Yes...Awesome
  9. For the rod I would go anywhere from 6'6" to 7' MH. I have a couple carrot stix 6'9" MH that I can use for almost anything. All the name(St croix, falcon, etc) rods in the $100-$150 range are going to be pretty good. For the reel I would go RevoSX or CuradoE7. Try Ebay, you'll save a TON over retail at BPS.
  10. Hard to beat the topwater bite. Congrats
  11. nastiest little critter on the face of the earth. I've gotten into em b4 but nothing on that scale. Just 107 more reasons to avoid Dirtybird
  12. Something about a wacky senko that they just cant resist. I am fairly new to the senko revolution, but no doubt they are one of the most consistent baits ot there.
  13. Keep throwin it, u will catch em. Personally, I've caught a ton of fish on the wal-mart $1.00 spinnerbaits.
  14. I fish out of my float tube alot and only bring two rods. I carry E21 carrot stix 6'9" MHF and they are great for just about every application
  15. Plain ol' T-rig for me. 7" junebug powerworm
  16. Gotta go with Kurt. Also a fan of Smoke, but it's just weird with him not in the 20
  17. That right there is what we are all looking for.
  18. Not sure about rentals at WW or anywhere else close by for that matter. Haven't fished it but from what I hear it's the only lake in the city worth a crap. Im headin out in the float tube tomorrow to Prague City Lake on the advice of SMSgt_RTC. I've got an extra rig. Shoot me a pm if you want to tag along.
  19. 7" junebug or watermelon powerworm has been responsible for at least half of the bass caught in my life. ALWAYS a t-rig with one of those colors tied on
  20. No love for Quantum around here . I have two old irons that I still use regularly for buzzbaits, deep cranks, and trolling cranks.
  21. http://www.animatedknots.com/palomar/
  22. jig jig jig. fished real slow. try brown/green with watermelon chigger craw trailer. Heavy braid is a must. Just my 2c but jigs seem to bring out the hawgs.
