Best Shakey Head Worm?

Featured Replies

Everyone has their favorite. I am partial to the 7" Berkley (hard to find) in blue fleck. Do not like the Gulp

For some odd reason the 7" seem to be only available at BPS.

I usually use a 6'' Roboworm, Squirrel Tail worm, or a Zoom finesse worm.

I use Strink King finesse worm or the Stick o bait kit that I got from Bass Pro that was on sale for 10 bucks. Just try to make sure you get some good colors. I flipped the box over to make sure I had what looks like Watermelon and pumpkin. Plus got some good black colored ones that really does look like a nigh crawler.

Roboworm, Big Bite Baits Squirrel tail, and Zoom trick worm

I like to use a zoom trick worm.

6" straight tail roboworm

I mostly use a Zoom Finesse worm, green pumpkin or smoking blue

The Z-man Elaztech finesse worm is my favorite

Xcite bait Maximus or Dichosa Anaconda ( same mold).

I'm partial to the 6in Roboworm or a Berkley Wacky Crawler if you can find them. Jim- I may have some of those 7in Blue Fleck you like if you are looking for some. I don't have much luck with them.

5" Hag's Tornado, hands down.

I use Robo Worms, but have had some good fortune of late using a regular 6" BPS curl tail. I snip the tail, and hook it thru the skinny end of the worm, then inject a little air in the fat end.

I used quite a few, the Trigger X 5" spade tail worm was good, the 5" Powerbait shaky worm, not the gulp, was another really good one but I found the one that I prefer and that is the River Rock Baits 5" Drop Shot worm, it is labeled a dropt shot worm but it works really well if not better on a shaky head.

Robo worm all the way. love the prism shad color and mm3 or oxblood. But have also been using green weenie on a dart head.

Roboworms and GYCB Kut Tails

I use zoom lizards a lot during or around the start of the spawn. But I've been using them a lot lately, been getting some good results.

7 inch strike king super finesse worm or Z man finesse worm in green pumpkin and watermelon. Both are made with elaztech and float better than zoom trick worm or others like it and they won't tear. A friend of mine caught 85 fish in two days on one Z man worm.

Yes, also with the elaztech worms I have an incredibly hard time getting them on the cork screw bait keeper. Keep a lighter handy to heat up the cork screw and they melt right on easily.
