Featured Replies

This is ONLY two of the new colors we came out with this year and I will post the others as the photo's become available! The first is Peanut Butter n Jelly and the other is one of my all time favorites and "FINALLY" Green Pumpkin Purple/Gold/Black ;)

Hope you like'em!

That Green Pumpkin Purple/Gold/Black looks sweet. Should match up well with many of the jigs I have. Good work BIG-O!

When does the Green Pumpkin Purple/Gold/Black come out?

My old man used to have a jig he made that color and it was killer

You can order them online at bps and twh and I believe they have them in the BPS stores already... May have to call and ck in your area!

They both look great, but I'm pumped for the green pumpkin gold / black / purple!

That PB&J looks like some of the craws I have found in my creek. Not really a grape/purple color but that dark, not quite black, shade with the PB brown color. NICE!!!!

Both colors look amazing with the new green pumpkin color my favorite. I have never tried these before as they are always out of my price range. What is the slot it for? Is it on the top or bottom of the bait.

Thanks for your question and I'll answer it as completely as possible...

It is a shallow hook slot so that standard J hooks or round bend hooks that are very prevalent in the fishing industry, can be used more effectively. This shallow slot allows a bit more throat gap for more clearance when the bait rolls into the hook shank during the hook set and ensuing battle. It also gives you a guide for keeping the craw straight during the rigging or placing the bait on the hook. The action of the Rage Craw is so agressive, that hooking it off center can cause the bait to twirl or cork screw during a fast retrieve. Of course you can choose to use a wider gap hook like EWG's etc. for even more clearance. So the hook would normally be placed on the slotted side of the Craw. This isn't as important with larger or wider gap hooks! Hope that helps...

I'm going to check the bass pro out here tomorrow. Hopefully they have 'em! I'm overdue for a shopping trip there anyway though =0)

That Purple gold/black flake looks like the color YUM calls mardi gras, I've never been able to find it in anything other than their dinger or ribbontail worm. It's a killer color for smallmouth around here, they love anything with purple or gold flake. Combine the 2 and they can't stand it! Hopefully one of the BPS by me will carry them. They have a pretty limited selection of colors now as it is.

The PB&J look great , would pair up nice with the SK pro model jigs in PB&J :)

I'm so glad the gp gold/purple/blk is finally going to be available in stores. I've been wearin' em out with this color for a while, it's a winner!

Very nice, good job!

Nice, looks like i'll be adding to the collection. Buying plastics has helped me understand women better. When the fiance is looking at nail polishes and she has about 1000 at home in a plastic tub but still has that urge to pick up "that" color, now I know. Gotta have it!

I hear ya mark. It also makes for an excellent comparative innocence when boxes of fishing gear keep showing up. Gotta hold your leverage.

Nice additions to the Strike King line-up. I know it's been out for a while but I've become a big fan of the rage chunk & craws. I hope you guys consider adding smoke purple as it's been a killer color for me on certain lakes.

Thanks Big O for the response, those are colors I also like but there is something about Smoke Purple on certain clear water lakes in this part of the country. That said you have a good color line-up, just need one more :eyebrows:

That's a solid color here as well. Same conditions.

I really like that Green pumpkin Gold/purple flake. Very nice.
