what is the best tubes out there? 

I really like BPS tender tubes and a local company called Cabin Creek.

I really like ISG and Strike King coffee tubes.  The little Yamamoto/Venom baits are great too.

Another vote for the Strike King Coffee Tubes.

 

If your going to make a tube-Make it right.

Also the MegaTube has a solid butt that you can screw keepers into for better hold on shakey heads and it also works better for Texas rigging

 

Notice the lifelike segmented body-These are killer for largemouth and smallies.

SK Denny Brauer flipping tube and Pour Boy tubes for me. Cabin Creek are a good bait too. 

The original 3 1/2" Gitzit produces well for me.

There are a million companies that produce tubes. Many are regional and the colors they produce are regional. In the PNW Outlaw Baits and Dry Creek Baits have a big following. Strike King makes a good tube. The nice thing about the smaller companies is you can order in 50's or 100's and save a few bucks.

I've use a lot of different ones and the all will catch fish.  I couldn't get colors the way I want them so I started making my own several years ago.  Now I don't use any other than the ones I make myself.

I started using Dry Creek double dipped tubes this fall, I've had some good days using them.  I really like the "Bama Craw" color, green pumpkin overall with some subtle orange coloring on the tentacles.  I realize there's lots of good tube makers out there, but I'm really impressed with the Dry Creek tubes, durable with great color schemes.

Another vote for the Gitzit original.  I also had success with the Zoom tubes.

I like the Snack Daddy Elite Tubes....They are a little thicker at the head, which gives it a slightly larger profile.

Coffee tubes, and my personal favorite, the Powerteam lures craw tube.

I have a taklebag full of StrikeKing tubes, both coffe and the older salted version, along with a tube kit I believe was from Bass Pro.  The majority of them are 3.5in, but I also have some packs of five inchers I've used for flipping, I just don't recall offhand who makes them.
