I have been using dirty jigs for awhile now and I reallylike them but my next order i will try the siebert outdoors .. They look Awesome and have awesome reviews

I only use North Star jigs now. Black blue and Mistake color for dirty waters and lots of greens and browns for clear.

I have checked out that Northstar Bluegill and it looks awesome. And there is a "new gill" color I think.

Both Northstar and Siebert's offer the roundhead jig style with and without a skirt. I don't believe the OP is referring to the popular lead head jig/grub trailer. 

 

I've as of recent become a fan of Siebert's Jig's. He makes a very quality product at a great price.

I like the NorthStar jigs alot.And I am sure the other two that have been posted are good also.The NorthStar jigs is all that I fish. Love his Black jigs,and the football jig's in molting craw,PB&J,Insanity,Chaos,Wrotten Banna, and in the football heads I fish 3/4 or 1 oz.! And his swim jigs and Flip & Swim are the best I have ever seen or fished,the bluegill & New Gill are KILLER all year!!!!!!

Siebert and Northstar are two VERY good options, and it doesn't hurt that they are both sponsors, and all around good guys that use and support their product.  Skinny Bear, Buckeye, and Don Iovino also make good "customish" or better than national brand jigs.

Also, the Black Series jig provides a very unqiue look that the fish can't resist. If you're into smallie fishing, or just want to show the largies something different, the hair jig is also a great option.

Another vote for both Siebert and North Star.  Both offer quality products and great service.  Personally, I just put in another order to North Star for some of their Black series jigs and some of their original swim jigs.  Just as an FYI, the site says that they're running pretty far behind due to order volume (which sounds like a high-class problem, for them).

I would like to try Northstar too. They seem like very nice baits as well

After reading a couple different threads here yesterday I went to the local tackle shop to pick up a couple jigs so I can start learning.  The owner of the shop suggested V&M jigs.  I'd never heard of V&M. Do any of you have any experience with them? 

 

Either way, I picked up a couple.  I'll let you all know how they do once I learn to catch some fish with them

The Copper Craw hairs I have drive them crazy in the winter time here. Weird thing is, I could never get a bite flipping it or dead sticking it. I had to swim it, almost burn it then let it drop. Every drop they killed it as it glided down!

But the Black series jig are killer year round in any water. Brandon Shultz's video on them rocks.

Awaiting on my first Northstar order still. Eager to try them out but been quite a wait for them.  I haven't tried the Siebert jigs yet either so I can't comment there.  I also like the SK Swimg jigs in Bluegill color. 

I placed an order for jigs over a month ago from Seibert Outdoors.  I just placed my second order with him.  Great product, top-notch service, and quick delivery.

 

I started with a handful of colors, but am down to mainly stocking 4:  Brown/Orange, Black/Blue, Bluegill, and "Clear Water" (a lighter brown/orange mix).

 

Can't say enough good things here.

I'm new to jig fishing as well, I've only fished them twice and I an already in love. For flipping docks and brush the "Big O" series jig from siebert outdoors is incredible. I fish the okechobee craw skirt and in 1/2oz. Here's my second bass ever on a jig, it was that exact jig..

This is true. Not discounting the grub and jig head combo at all, but I'm referring to the female persuasion of these type baits (skirts).
