Glenn May Is The Bass Superman (Keri Says Don't Let It Get To His Head)

Featured Replies

I had the great pleasure to fish with Glenn May today... aka the "Clark Kent of Smallieville"... We filmed an episode of Lunkerville that I've been wanting to do for a long time and finally the stars aligned and we headed to Banks Lake in Washington State to film the "Glenn May Story".

Well, Glenn did not disappoint.  With a dangerous storm front moving in, and the skies looking fierce, Glenn calmly made a plan for the day and it paid off.  We had constant smallie action and terrific conversation and I finally got to get to know Glenn and shoot his story for Lunkerville.

The most important part of the show will be to share with folks what Glenn does for the bass fishing community.  He provides EVERYONE who is interested in bass fishing with FREE access to this wonderful website; the most important bass fishing resource on the internet IMHO. Does everyone understand that he really is the SUPERMAN of bass fishing information?  I do.  If you've seen this guy work the floor at ICAST, you'd know what I mean.  Glenn is committed to informing people about bass fishing like no one I've ever met.

I just get a good feeling about people sometimes... and I had this feeling about Glenn the first time I met him. The man is passionate about bass fishing and what he's doing is important. And there aren't a lot of opportunities in life to do something that's IMPORTANT.

So, thank you Glenn for taking me out fishing on your honey hole, teaching me, allowing me to get to know you a little bit, and helping me tell another great fish story.  And thank you Keri and Larry for spending some time with us and having a great time at the ELECTRIC CITY BAR AND GRILL!  LUNKERVILLE WILL RETURN TO ELECTRIC CITY (insert GNR music here) !!!

The show will air on WFN most likely in November and on NBC Sports in February.  When I get an exact date, I'll let everyone know!

Great job for a great man congrats. He is our president and our CEO.

This is the greatest bass fishing site on the planet. If it wasn't for Glenn I'd still be using live bait catching panfish. I love bass fishing.

"Faster than a speeding bullet . . . . more powerful than a locomotive . . . . able to leap tall buildings at a single bound . . . . able to find and catch bass with his spectacular polarized vision."  Peel back that BR shirt and show us that S on your chest, Glenn.

All other sites do not compare to this one.  Thanks Glenn for all that you do!

I look forward to seeing this episode.

Glenn is a good dude.

No matter what we do for a living or if we go to school, bass fishing brings us together and we make friendships that will last a lifetime.

Meeting with Glenn highlights this philosophy.

A guy from New York travels across the USA to Washington to meet a guy who takes him fishing and shows him some secrets that are being filmed for the rest of the world to see.

It just does not get better than that.

Where can I watch new episodes of Lunkerville other than on TV? The website has stopped updating new episodes for over a year now.

Trippy, we're in the process of revamping lunkerville.com to include full HD versions of the show.  We'll have the entire last season's shows and this seasons in HD. I'll get a link to Glenn's show and post it here for all to watch.

And for folks at BR who want to watch online the first 6 shows of this season, airing now on WFN and starting in January on NBC Sports, you can find those shows on the menu at the top of the page.

Also, the entire last season's shows can be found here: http://rockville.tv/Lunkerville_Season_7/Season_7.html

These shows will appear at Lunkerville.com soon with a total re-design of the site.

Just watched it. :punishment:

Glenn, Who was the roadtripper who refused to throw a senko?

  • BassResource.com Administrator

Well now if you came to a RoadTrip you'd know, now wouldn't ya? ;)

No, I'm not going to name him here.  He knows who he is and can make himself known if that's what he wishes.  Otherwise, what happens on the boat, stays on the boat! :greetings:

Just watched it.  What an awesome lake!  I'm not talking about the fishery, but the beautiful, stark scenery. Uh, and I am not the guy with the Senko problem.
