Is anyone participating in No Shave November? I am, but I was already working on checking The Grizzly Adams beard off my bucket list.

I participate in that every month.   I shave every three weeks whether I need to or not.

I participate in no shave year. I don't shave my face. Just my head and arms. I'm going bald, and my arms get whooly.

Typical tuesday .... oddly enough my 4yr old told me since I have a beard I should be a lumberjack for halloween. I let it get long and it started to look like I lived in a cave.

Grew my whiskers in 1975, still got em.

Haven't shaved since the '70s.  I was the forerunner of Duck Dynasty.

 

Then.  During my lobstering days.  Yes that is a bird perched on my head.  In the fall, when birds are migrating, there are always a few stragglers.  They are so exhausted, and desperate for a rest that they lose all fear.

 

 

Now.  Pickwick, last year.  Thirty plus years later, but not as scruffy.

 

I will have to add this to my list of no showers in September. 

I do the Movember thing. Already had the beard, now I look like Clark Gable, lol.

 

 

 

Okay. So this isn't just a thing my eldest son does with his high school buddies on the swim team. Man, I need to get out more.

 

And no, don't participate. Can grow a full beard, but too many gray patches in spots. Maybe when it's all gray I will, LOL.

I've been sportin' a full beard since about 2 months after I graduated high school. I'm not shaving this November either.

I had a goatee my senior year and rocked a chin strap or soul patch till my son was born now i keep a managable beard

I started this in late September.

I shave once a month when I have drill for te national guard...Octobers got canceled due to shut down so Ive been growing this one since October 1.

I have a couple of friends that have some pretty impressive beards and with their encouragement, I decided to get a head start and unleash my facial hairs full potential, in mid October. Unfortunately there was not much potential to be released and gave up about a week ago :/. Good luck to those still growing. I found this the other day though.....Look at the guy in the back, with the beard....

That's how mine happened.

 

I grew it out to run in the Warrior Dash a few years ago and ever since then she's liked it.

Not participating in it on purpose...got tired of shaving two weeks ago so...I haveny shaved in two weeks... Then I heard of no shave November over the weekend... Sounds like a plan... I'm sure ill get sick of the beard soon and shave. My wife hates it...bit she will live

I'm still letting it grow. Its been roughly a month and a half, give or take. My wife seems to like it and it is growing on me.Lol. I'll post a before and after pic sometime this weekend. I'll probably let it keep going after November.
