Ive seen a lot of post saying that fishing is over with for the year and ya i agree the weather sucks. Its been cold, rainy, and for us in Illinois we just had some tornadoes hit! I got a good day to go out on the water, temps were in the mid 40s and the wind was pretty calm so I went out to a small lake by my house that I fish quite a bit and actually caught my biggest bass of the year weighing in at 4 1/2 lbs!! Only fish i caught all day but i would rather catch a hog than a couple smaller fish! Def worth goin out in the cold!!

That's usually the results I get this time of year, not near the numbers as during warmer months, but the bigger fish happen much more frequently. Nice fish!

Ya thats what ive read a lot about is that the bigger ones are out around this time of the year but ive never actually got to fish this late in the year and after this im def a firm believer of the bigger ones being out this time of the year!

Posssibly......HAHAHA ya it is i caught it right after i got done talking to a guy that was fishing off the bank. He moved the oppisite way and i thought to myself, well i didnt see him cast in there and first cast 2nd twitch he nailed it!!!!
