Live Tarket Lures Opinions ?

Featured Replies

I have a couple of them, they are quality lures in my opinion. My favorite is my Live target Bluegill squarebill, I think I've caught at least something on it every time I've used it, but I'm not a big crankbait user, so I could probably get better at using it if I tried. I would recommend you try at least one of them and create your own impression off of using it. By the way, I did swap the hooks out for Mustads and kept the originals for back ups.

Which lures are you talking about specifically or just in general?

Their stuff is fair priced and I don't mind spending a few extra bucks becuase you don't have to upgrade hooks and rings on these.  A lot of $4-5 cranks need upgrading out of the package or it's at least recommended by many.

The frogs/mice are top notch and great to have in your box. They're my go to frog and see 95% of my froggin' slop action. Nice sharp hooks.

The cranks are very detailed, run true, and have quality components.  I just picked up some poppers to try for the first time but I imagine they're great too.

The baitball series doesn't interest me because I fish more bluegill/bream and craw pattern lures than I do minnow/shad.  Have not tried their jerkbaits in any of the series, I'm sure they're great.

Buy with confidence if it interests you.

The only LiveTarget I fish with regularly is their frog. Like MikeHO24 said. Top knotch. For me, they are one best frogs out now. I have been using them since they debut a few years back.

Oh yea, forgot to mention I have several of their frogs. They are the only frog I have ever caught anything on, wonderful detail....

I like them quite a bit. I have used almost every type of bait they offer and my only complaint is on the Shad lipless crank. The paint on mine came off if I even looked at it wrong. After two days of use it was trashed.

you should email them. They may just take care of that for you.

Black and yellow frog is my favorite. My buddy caught back to back 5 pounders and decided to take the frog home with him SMH.

The level of detail they put into the paint jobs on their frogs is unbelievable. I just got some of their new baitball cranks and am looking forward to trying them out this Spring.
