If you had one and only one lure to fish thr rest of your life, what would you choose?

 

For me, hands down plastic worm. Mainly because it can be rigger in a wide array of fish catching applications.

A ragetail anaconda, you can just work the thing in so many ways, almost any time of year....or maybe a senko/ shim-e-stick....or maybe a hula popper...or a skitter pop, or a shad rap, or a scatter rap, or a jig, or a rage craw, of a flick shake, or a fluke , or maybe iwe could say one lure...for each on of the spaces in your tackle box. All kidding aside, I would say a fluke, what better represents a dying fish (I just know somebody's gonna come back and retort "live bait")

Weedless fluke, will catch bass as well any other fish that swims anyplace any time of the year.

A 5 foot grub would be tough to cast...

 

I was a jig and some type of plastic trailer fan for a long time, but after having caught 10 plus different species on a lipless crankbait, I would say that would be my choice.

I'll go with a watermelon senko with red and black flakes.

Thank goodness I don't have to choose.  One of the advantages of owning a boat is that you get to transport more than one rod & reel pretty easily.  I generally carry 20, rigged & ready to go.  Saves time tying knots.

everyone choosing senko wouldnt be fishing very long if they were only allowed "1" lure 

1/8th oz white and chartreuse spinnerbait.

 

I can catch bass anywhere on that.  I can also catch trout, striper, white bass, hybrids, catfish, drum, crappie, walleye and almost anything else that swims and eats minnows.

I'd have to say a senko, my only confidence bait at this time lol. If it was only one lure forever tho maybe I'd choose something I have NO confidence in so at least I'd be able to enjoy learning something new over the next 40 years rather than get bored sooner. So, a jig? a jerkbait? maybe a spinnerbait... I've gotta think about this...
