I've been out 3 times. Skunked twice. Caught 2. How'd you do?

Today was my first time this year. Got skunked.

Nice fish.

Caught my PB today  6lb 8oz.  

You guys have got to be kidding.

Should have time this Thursday to make my first cast of the year at my favorite pond. No class that day

I've been staring at an ice covered lake since November and it'll most likely be that way until about mid way through April unless it warms up a little quicker. So yeah.....it'll be a while.

First one this year from a few weeks ago. No ice this year but the cold weather has been hit or miss so fishing has been tough...

I've been about half a dozen times now. We had one 100+ fish day in February. Today was the nicest weather I've fished in so far this year (70+), also the only day I've been skunked so far this year   No big ones yet, lots of 3's with a 4lb 3oz largemouth the biggest so far, but that will change soon 

We've had a few days of warmer weather, with a couple of crummy days here in a row, then back in the 50's this weekend.

 

I'm hoping to cast a line this weekend. Even if I don't catch anything, it'll be a win

January was a great month....Feb was down due to surgery...March is starting kind of slow even though the water is 50 now. Oh well....always a learning curve. Glad to get out.

No i have not been out yet, i need though, living near a bass pro shop , ive been spending all my food money on baits.. i just really need to fish

What a heffer

Got out this past Sunday for the first time. Had heavy stained water in the upper 30s...skunked. Only fished a few hours.. sprained my ankle in the boat. Rough opening day, hopefully it gets better, lol.

Only in my mind. This crazy winter in Northwest Indiana is driving me nuts!!!!

why do i even bother clicking on these threads, off to cry in a corner now......did manage to catch a few small ones so far, nothing more than about 4lbs.

Been out 4 times. Caught 7 in an hour 2 weeks ago on a wacky senko dropshot. Then got skunked. Then caught a 4.5 fats and a small one on a bleeding bps spinnerbait with double willow blades. Last trip a 3 pounder on a silver single blade spinnerbait. Will try to post pics soon.

Well I don't feel to bad about my year now. Went out Saturday and caught two dinks. These were only 1/4 pound fish. First was caught on a jerkbait and the second on a crappie tube (you'll go to desperate measures when even senkos won't catch fish).

Nope. Not yet. Between work and family issues, it may be a while.

I got two nice ones last month.

 

I fished one of the local tournaments on Thursday, I caught 9 or 10 fish, but nothing worth a fudge...  three fish stringer ( two any size, one has to be over 18" as the third) but i did manage to put 3 and 1/2 lbs on my board for the championship.  Not a great start... but its a start!

Waiting for 3rd week of June for bass season to open

I've been out a few times so far this year... Caught my first double digit ever! Been crushing them on 4" white tubes lately.

Oh wait, are we talking bass?
