I just bought seaguar invizX fluorocarbon 15lb test that I plan to put on my crankbait rod to fish shallow crankbaits for this early fall transition. Im just wondering If this line would work well on my soft plastics rod? I also have some 12lb test P Line Floroclear laying around. Or should i spend more money and get something else that would be better for the job? Should I be looking at mono? Please advise!!!

I'd try what you have. Don't like it? Look at something else and use the rest of that spool as leader material if need be. I like 12lb big game and my next spool will be some 12lb suffix mono.

Invizx should work great unless you mind the stretch, in which case you might want to get some less stretchier FC.

12-16 lb flouro is great for most soft plastics most of the time, sometimes I switch to mono when they're biting it on the fall (senko, soft jerkbait, etc.) and I want a slower fall.

Whatever you feel comfortable with. As long as your line is reliable you should be alright.

I use 10-20lb fluoro for most of my plastics, so you should be fine with what you have. 

Id use the fluoro you already have. It should work great. If i bought anything different it would be braid if you fish really heavy cover

If you don't, I would opt for something else. Too much stretch for single hook baits imo. I would get some Sniper or braid myself.

BPS 14 lb flouro for my plastics and 10lb for my cranking.

I'd say I throw plastics on an even split of CXX, InvisX, Power Pro, and have been playing with Tuf-Line Hevi-Core.  I do have one spinner with 832 as well.

I use 12lb and 15lb invisx for plastics, does just fine.

I like12lb Invisx or 12lb trilene 100%FC.

I've been useing 15# Invizx on my plastics and spinner/chatter combo for a long while now and like.

I don't mind a little stretch for spinnerbait's, but thinking of try something else for plastics because of all heavy stuff around here.

I was given a spool of XPS to try, but haven't gotten around to respooling yet.
