My local Walmart is clueless regarding fishing gear.  I always check the clearance rack and scored a bunch of kalins grubs for 75 cents each.  I've never even seen them for sale there so I'm guessing they went straight to the clearance rack.  Since I grabbed all 4 bags I went to pick up a few Bitsy bug jig heads. Here's where it gets out of control.  They were 25 cents a piece.  Bought all 10 of them and going back tomorrow to see if they have more in stock.  $5.50 for 40 grubs and 10 jigs.  I'm set till next decade.

Although I greatly expanded my crankbait and spinnerbait collection last black friday -- as I lost so many late last season and dinged up a few skipping them under a low bridge, these are not all new purchases but I did get the Bass Mafia tackle bag and some bass mafia tackle boxes for this year and now I can carry an impressive amount of tackle.

 

So when I got it loaded about a month ago, I took some pics so I thought I'd share.

I've never fished them. I heard great things so I picked up a few.

We got pike opening this weekend, so I need to get my tackle in order. Bought some baits on Amazon anD hit up my local Cabela's for the rest. Finally got my terminal tackle out of a double sided stowaway and into a full 3700. I was looking for a Plano 3771, but opted to wait it out and use an old Flambeau that has a ton of dividers. Jammed all my topwater and hard swimbaits into that Plano Deep. Obligatory pics from Cabela's haul

Stopped into a local marine store on Friday.  They had Shimano Citica on sale for $77.99.  Could not resist and pulled the trigger!  Can't beat that deal.

Because it’s much better to use your good hand for small movements like reel and drag. The left has better control of gross movements.

Got me another freebie from the bait monkey today. Caught me a jerkbait today. It was lined up with braided line so I pulled it all in, but sadly no rod and reel on the other end.

Bait monkey delivered most of my Amazon order 2 days early, still waiting on a Popmax and Dog-X Jr. I've heard enough from Tactical Bassin, so I got me a swaver in lite trout, a jackall giron, some zman finesse Jigs and slim swimz. I rolled the dice on these Bill Lewis Echos, no one talks about them but they come with quality hardware.

Tackle Warehouse order for spring smallies and walleye arrived today. 2 more rippin raps on the way in colors that were backordered. I didn't have any success with the keitech swing impact fats that I tried but I think these easy shiners will be better. Going to use them on jigheads and maybe a dropshot later in the summer.

I haven't looked into the bait at all so was curious to see if there's some sort of action that it produces that hasn't been made before. I like the idea of how they hide the hook though! Or should I say the Bait Monkey likes it more

They are perfectly cute in the right way that guys want them (me too) and their action is so good it makes me want to eat one. Looks like a tadpole/madtom or goby and also a sick fish darting up to the surface half belly up and darting back down. Definitely catches fishermen. Great action, too.

My BIL caught a 40" Northern on a 1/2oz Dark Sleeper in Shiaruo (white/chartreuse) and I caught this little football roughly 10 minutes later on a 1oz in Wakasagi; both dragging and hopping on bottom. They catch more than just fisherman.
