Finally bit the bullet and got a bass mafia bait coffin to try for terminal tackle. I'm currently using 2 3600 size boxes, hoping to get everything into a single one of these. I went for the regular one and not their gimmicky terminal-specific one with the fancy inserts.

 

I also had to throw in some owner beast and flashy swimmers to get over $49 for free shipping.

This was on DSG with a 20% off email, which was nice for the box but it just brought the hooks down from their outrageous prices to something closer to TW's normal prices,  

 

edit: I just checked... This was $0.47 more expensive (including the 20% off) from DSG than if I would have just bought from TW at normal price. Let this be a lesson to you!

I just picked up a glx 894c fpr. When it arrived it felt like it was heavier action than I hoped it would be. But took it on the water today for some pitching and it comes alive when it’s fished and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I had pre-ordered these over the winter.  

Received them a month or so ago.

The advertised swimming action is real & 100% Mike Bucca.  

Admittedly with the pre-spawn jerkbait bait being so hot here, I was hard pressed to throw anything else. 

But with the post spawn comes the bluegill eaters, and I fully expect these little beauties to play a Big Role in putting fish in my net.

Did pump up the hardware some though, but I do that to most everything.

Some goodness from Mike arrived yesterday!

Just picked up some shimano cumaras. A 6'3 medium and a 6'3 Heavy Fast both reaction series. Then got a 6'8 MH XF jig rod. Not too bad for 300 shipped!!

All set up for some panfishing. Decided to get two so me and my grandson would have the same setup, I think it will make a difference to him. Wasn’t crazy about this in the beginning but it might be fun with this gear. 5’ ultra light,fast with president size 20 reels. $205 in total to catch some sunfish and small pickerel. I must be crazy.

Nope, your more than welcome to put them in as many of your vids as you like. 

Just tracked into customs, this one took a week to leave Japan. (sigh of relief) These are the same as the CR 10s sold in the states.

Fantastic rods. I caught 2.5 pounder on 6’10” matched with Citica first time using.  Caught on a Mann’s Shadow.

Happy to get these after scouring the internet! I really like these rods and I know they’ll pair well with my new Curados.

Forgive my ignorance but what makes these such a hard find? Were they a limited run? An older model that is just hard to find now? Just curious.

@pauldconyers, I appreciate your question. The Crucial rod series was discontinued and replaced by the current Curado line of rods.  And I personally like the Crucial series for the techniques I want to use them. 

All this for $11 on eBay!  I've been somewhat limited on jig trailers this year until now.

So I bought this bandit root beer silent 200 series crankbait.  Before i headed north to fish on vacation.  Throw on the bandit and finally get on a decent small mouth crank bite.  Went back to the store and bought 3 more or 3 for 10 bucks. They were in a bin with a couple other color bandits, a lot fischous cranks, and some other not high dollar names 

 

 The Surplus store started getting heavy into fishing stuff right around the time  gander went belly up and I think they bought up some of the left over merchandise. Which, is good because they have the best selection of stuff within 30 miles. They are starting to get regular tackle in like Berkley havoc and z-man stuff but the majority of it is close out stuff from else where.  Never know what you may find and a lot of it.
