Got my Shadow Rap order from Rapala. They came in a lightly padded envelope, thankfully the post office was fairly gentle with it, only a few boxes were messed up. Excited to try a few of these colors next year, my wife already put them away for Christmas.

Nope, that is the only way I could convince her to get them. Figured having to wait is better than no baits.

I take it you loose a lot of terminal tackle, if that’s your mid-season resupply!

My wife tried that a few years ago. She stopped when I started putting her Amazon orders away for Xmas.:dance10:

Decided to upgrade all my spinning gear,  bought 5 new tatula lt spinning reels,  a tatula baitcaster and 6 tatula rods.  Ouchie.  Went a little overboard

You digging all of them? Every Daiwa tatula rod and reel I have is fantastic.

Yes,  actually since that post I bought another tatula lt spinning reel and rod and 3 more tatula baitcasting rods and reels.  They're all great.

Cool. My favorite spinning reels are the Tatula LT 2000, and the 3000 shallow spool version. These two reels cover all of my spinning needs 100%. I have three 2000s and two 3000. The 3000 with the Tatula 6'6" and 6'8" spinning rods are the lightest, most balanced, sensitive setups around.

The problem I have is the last order to Amazon was months ago and was a pest screen for our lint trap, I didn’t want to wait on that one;). Seriously though we rarely order stuff online.

Well, I decided that my 8 yr old should start using the tackle that's stored on the boat so we don't have to take his tackle bag aboard when we go out because it takes up space. Iv'e seen what he can do with terminal tackle... So yeah need to stock up.

A new dobyns champion xp 735 and a Denali fission 6'10" m spinning rod. I can't exactly tell y'all how good of a deal I got but I'm super excited about them both. Coming next week..... New reels to complete the combos. My son also got a kastking crixus spinning rod at the cup for $25. Yet to actually use it but it feels like a solid rod for the price

When we travel, if we see a small bait shop we will stop and spend a small  amount to support the independent shops. Found R&R sports in Bettendorf Iowa and was very impressed with what they had. Was able to find the spicy beaver, potential option if Rage prices go up, and a blade bait I think I read about on here.

Tried the spicy beaver this morning and got a largemouth and a fairly big smallmouth with it, along with two grabs I missed. The bait seemed no worse for wear, so hoping durability will be good since I know it catches fish now.

Those KaRu vibrating jigs used to be the ticket. A football head with the coffin blade put off quite the vibration. I noticed he no longer uses the coffin blade, I would guess likely due to Z-man hunting him down.

The bait monkey got me once again.

The depth finder will be a great addition to my kayak, super excited about this one.  I picked it up for $300.

The Quantum Icon I got for $40 (sort of, I won a bet) and will be used for crank baits.  I will do a full review later on this reel with a series of other Quantums I fished over this past year.  I did try it out tonight and first impression.... it's not bad but not mind blowing.  At $40, my exceptions were way over met.  Casting distance and the breaking system were outstanding though.

Coming in a JDM box, in both floating and sinking. Color, Jya Ayu.

Won the culprit but bought the other stuff through gander with that $10 gift coupon

I've been avoiding the monkey for quite some time. It caught up to me this weekend. My local Ollie's had 25% off fishing gear. Bringing these Lucky Craft lures down to $5.24. I was surprised to see Staysees 90 included on the racks. Looking forward to trying it out this fall.

Everyone dogs that live target sunfish. I actually caught a really nice 3-4lber on it. It's the easiest bait I've ever walked in my life.

First “higher end” reel. I always have used lews or smoke quantum pt , my first daiwa tatula sv tw. I have this to pair with my new megabass orochi xx perfect pitch comming in tomorrow!! Woohoo

I will agree, way easy to walk.  And you can keep it in the same general spot for multiple twitches.  Only complaint: After quite a few strikes, mine has gotten to where the body of the bait doesn't want to stay in its normal posture, and I have to manipulate it to get it back to normal.  It kind of gets "flattened" against the hook.

I’ve owned the 3” version for almost two years and that lure has had far more bites than any other topwater lure I own. I’ve had fish do acrobatic stunts to crush this gem. The 3.5” should add a little more bulk and weight for my shore casting haunts.

Everyone dogs the Livetarget Squarebill Bait ball series lure too, but that’s been my #1 producing hard lure. It’s cool with me
