I thought so too. I haven't had a 9" Slammer for awhile, but when I did it didn't seem like it was nearly as large around as this one is. I need to find my kitchen scale so I can weigh it and see where it falls in that department. I know that Mike does some special request, not sure if this bait might be one of them.

Yeah maybe so, the difference in diameter of yours does look bigger than in mine. I don't have a large but he actually lists them as 13" on his website. Yours seems like an inbetweener.

That's what I call mine too ?

I mean, that's what it's made for, but it's very rare I'm weighing any food. It's weighed 10X more baits than it has food items.

Mine has weighed more broadheads and arrows than anything else.

If you like big, fat straight tail worms but don't like the price that everyone ask for them, YUM is here to help!

No photo description available.

I love their color selection, and $3 for a 7 pack of 8" fat straight tail worms, can't beat that!

No photo description available.

Really excited that they're offering other baits in 30 packs now. Got 2 30 packs of Christie Craws in my TW order today, only $10 a pack too!

Image may contain: food

I'll have to take pictures of the rest of the order, mostly plastics. My orders aren't usually real exciting with my disdain for crankbaits and everything ?

My recent booty...

Took advantage of TW sale on some Senkos, and threw in the Winn Grip accessories. Got a discount on the 3 KK Royale Legend rods, and KK Speed Demon reel from the Amazon Prime Day Sale, and threw in the Rod Gloves and KK Lip Grips. Purchased e few packs of VMC 1 weedless Neko Rig hooks, nail weights and Tungsten drop shot weight from Dicks.

Do you like the Christie craws? I fish rivers and would love to try a new craw imitation.

Absolutely, one of my favorite jig trailers and a great flipping/punching bait as well.

The bottom of my johnboat is littered with dead Christie craws from my last 2 night fishing excursions ?

Some died instantly, but others suffered multiple attacks before they succumbed to their injuries. All died bravely in combat though.

New Lew's bb1 I picked up for $120 at a local shop and a new to me Shimano clarus 7'6" crankbait rod I got for $50.  Caught me off guard when. The guy offered the reel for that. They're not exactly known for discounts just having most of what you need.

I just picked up these 7 Lucky Craft Staysee 90sp's off eBay for $37 shipped. Yes, they were previously used but only one (the top Nishiki) shows any sign of use with a little hook rash, the others look new. This lot had 3 of the 4 color schemes I was looking for...yeah, there's a couple doubles but still...these are $15.99 each brand new so I still think I got a pretty good deal to help round out my Fall jerkbait arsenal :).

You got a great deal on a really effective lure.  Don't just do the twitch - twitch - twitch - pause thing.  They work on a straight retrieve, occasionally bumping bottom.

NOS (New Old Stock) Just picked these up, dealer box included. The Risto Rap is one of my favorite balsa cranks and I'll always have one in my box. It has landed me many bass over the years and I call it my Shad Rap on steroids.

That thing is sweet. Don’t forget to take the things of the hook lol. I was swearing up and down after the third missed fish on a new spinnerbait once. Talk about feeling dumb.

Successfully convinced my wife to tolerate a detour to the St. Croix Factory in Park Falls, WI while road-tripping back to Michigan from Minnesota.  Got to check out some models in person I haven't seen in stores, browse the "B-stock" rods (former displays, trade-ins, minor blems, etc.), and watch the work going on in the factory for a bit.

Picked up a b-stock Mojo 6'8" M-XF, casting for $40 below the new price....in pristine condition as far as I can tell, aside from an unobtrusive "Handcrafted for...." inscription above the Mojo Bass logo.  Also grabbed a hat and a used travel case. They let me take the travel case for free, and even threw in a free Daiwa spinning reel on a promotion (had the option of getting $30 off a baitcaster, but I already had a mate for the new rod waiting at home).

Great place to stop!

I just had a birthday (40) and I got a 100 dollar gift card to spend on tackle...so I got exactly what I don't need, 200 dollars in swimbaits.  Bought a Gigantarel and ordered 2 slammers.  I don't catch much on big swimbaits but for some reason I enjoy throwing them...

Having a buddy that works in a tackle shop doesn’t help me at all. I didn’t even need a reel. Now I guess I better get a rod as well.....it’s neverending.
