Curado 70HG arrived from TW today and I paired it up with a neglected Extreme HP 742C that's been sitting abandoned on the rod rack since Black Friday. Can't wait to get this combo out on the water!

Second Cutter from the bottom, Chameleon Vapor, is a killer bait. They've about chewed all the paint off mine this winter.

I believe it, that blueish chartreuse looking color on the bottom of the bait looks amazing... I also liked the swimming action of it I seen in a review.

Edit: Actually the second cutter from the bottom that I have is Chartreuse Shad, Chameleon Vapor is similar but with a darker back and solid chartreuse bottom.

jesus dude how much you spend a month on tackle?????

Why not more pics in fishing report section?

I feel his pain.  I think his problem is because us yankees have winter to deal with.  Bad things happen to our wallets during this time.  I've lost some battles to the bait monkey this winter as well.

I'm still in ski season, and literally just went out on my lunch break for the first time since last fall.  There will be plenty of pics when I can actually get back in the swing of things.

I don't know how much I spend though.  It's best not to keep track.  See "plausible deniability" ;)

Sweet! I am going to be getting my 2nd Exscence DC / Custom Rod wet this weekend hopefully too! I need to get some fish slime in the picture to get the "Ay-Okay" from Goose! I have plenty of time on the water with my first Exscence to know how phenominal it is. I hope you enjoy the heck out of it. Make sure you use the SP mode with no thumb "just because". To get max distance either use the Min or next one up from the min setting on the dial. I am sure you have probably back yard casted it but just in case you need the cliff notes...

I have been putting off a TW order, I want to get some braid for my new swimbait rig and some plano boxes. So your pictures of the Berkley charteruse shad forced my hand.

Took it out today and was very impressed.  Right off the bat it was just humming casts that had me squinting to see the splash.

What techniques are you using that destoyer/exscence combo for?

Did you buy any with the note "scratch" on it? Most that were 40% had that note. Did you see any scratches and how big were they?

Thats more of a disclaimer that they're used.  Most of the stuff I've bought from FGJ was barely used at all with little to no discernible wear.  I figure they get scratched and chipped just using them so I wouldn't be worried if they were more heavily used, but it's never come up.

As as for what I'm using the exsence/destroyer for, it's for A LOT of stuff.  Jigs, bigger cranks, smaller swimbaits, big jerkbaits, vibration and blade baits over a half ounce and pretty much anything else in that weight range that vibrates, has trebles or an open top hook.  I only really ever use 4 combos but they're 4 DIALED combos.

Made my first TW purchase ever, and found out they have to ship to the billing address for your first order, so my wife is gonna find out (unless I can sneak home that day and grab them).  I was trying to ship to the office and they called me and said it was a no-go on the first order.  Almost canceled it, but will just ship it on home.

New heavy cover bass and catfish setup: AG 6500 C3/AG Vengeance 7'6" Heavy

New all-purpose bass set up: Lew's BB-1 Pro Series speed spool cast reel/Falcon Lowrider 20 split cast rod 6'10" MH

Seaguar Smackdown Braid Green 50lb

Had some equipment issues this weekend with some older gear, so need to start slowly upgrading and replacing so I'm not stuck on one reel most of the time.

Well, I forgot to call UPS and go pick it up and it showed up at about 7:30 last night.  I met the driver at the door with my wife right behind me.  She said "Good God, what is that!?"  I said, "A fishing rod".  She just rolled her eyes and said okay.  I neglected to tell her there were two rods and two reels and waited until she went to bed to open them up.  Now they're safely stowed until I load up to go fishing again.
