I have no worries. The bait monkey has been fully defeated, and I have completely re-outfitted myself for the remainder of the year (or longer) for just under $300. This includes a new reel, and gear for 3 different species.

Thats all I need.

Wow, that's cool!  I haven't fished mine yet.  I didn't pay a whole lot of money for it but I've considered keeping it new, just because I haven't seen many of them.  I'm sure I'll end up fishing it eventually though.

Local sport shop had 30% off all fishing stuff sale.  Spent $140 replacing stuff I was low on and more crankbaits and jigs that I didn't need.  Next weekend me and a buddy are heading to Bass Pro Shop for first time.  Going to have to bring a gun to kill the bait monkey.

Ah, the mixed blessing that is modern tracking.  It's nice to know it's en route but when it's not "moving" or if it's in transit somewhere, it's like a roller coaster of emotions and imagining the "what if's".        

I did not want to do it but I ordered some special $25 crankbaits for specific techniques.
