Just purchased my first Hardgill. Cant wait for it to get here.

I've bought 6 10xds and 2 packs of 1/0 2x st-41 owner hooks in the last 5 weeks and caught a ton of fish on them but I lost every single one to snags. Lol.

You guys have no idea how happy this makes me! haha

My first ever St. Croix rod and it seems like it is going to be a very nice combo. Feels perfect to cast. 12lb Trilene mono. Going to be a light T-Rig setup.

 

A note to anybody in the Grand Rapids, MI area: I saw two of these, exact same model at the Cabela's In Grandville, marked way down the last two times I was in there. I almost bought one last week, but I thought to myself, "No, MIbassyaker, stay your hand -- some angler, somewhere, needs these rods more than you do..." *

Well the Bill Lewis super rattle trap colors caught my eye at TW.

It's been hard staving off the Bait Monkey, and Tackle Toad, but I have to save up for the Electronics Gorilla so I can get my Humminbird Helix 5 SI.

Got my *** black and Tournament MB. Used it today and love it. I think if I'd do it again though I'd go for the longer rod instead of the 6'10" one.

I have not had a issue with the first pack I bought. Not saying I wont have a issue but one pack was great. Very sharp and by all accounts very nice looking. Not one broke on me so I thought or that price Ill grab a few more.

Yes; by "cheap" I meant "heavily discounted to an extremely low price for premium hooks". They seem super sharp and well built.

Broke down again. Found two new OKUMA metaliod spinning reels #30. These say pimp out my rod setup. These look awesome with the metal finish. I'm going to change my name to THE BASS PIMP. Get me a furry long coat a big hat. Hang out with Charlie Moore???

My BIZZBAIT order arrived. I'm golden for next spring, summer, no there Christmas presents for the kids with c-rigs.

It says its for picking out backlashes but I don't need it for that. I actually got it to help me get my line from the guide on the reel up under the spool to tie it when respooling instead of trying to use a pencil.
