It's crazy, I'm just outside Toronto and we have less than a foot of snow but 2 hours south is snowed in.  Family cancelled plan to come up from NY due to roads closed.

I could see the wall of snow to my west when hunting last night but never saw a single flake. The snow belt is about 15 minutes from me but we got nothing

The pictures keep pouring in on the internet.  The amount of snow is unreal even for me.  Worst I can recall ever seeing.

I'm so glad I don't live up there anymore. 

Always lived south of Rochester, in Lima, 

and in Caledonia. We tended to miss a lot 

of the lake-effect snow...

 

So much prefer the weather down here in

Winter has been here a week. Iam all ready sick of it.

Our turn now.   Not sure exactly what we got today, but wading through the lawn it is well up over my kneecaps, and I measured those at 19-20 inches.   They are pulling our plows off the road at dusk because they simply can't see the road.

What day is today ? hmmm, oh, it´s Thursday ! .... two more days till Sunday when I have to mow the lawn.
