Maybe I shouldn't have asked for frogs when Santa asked what I wanted this year...

I don't think you need frogs for awhile.  Maybe for another decade.

I got a Abu Garcia Orra s30 spinning reel and used a warranty to replace an old carbonlite for the new white one(awesome rod by the way). I've caught about 20 fish on the combo and I'm loving it

Do tell on the new Carbonlite.  Some people are not liking the white, aside from the color..how does it compare with the previous generation?

I received 100 bucks, combined with my BPS gift card from my birthday 50, I'm saving them both up for the Spring Classic at BPS (reel trade in) for my first Curado I, if I don't like it..I will get another Chronarch CI4+.  On top of that I got a subscription for 1 year with LTB from my lovely wife.  LTB helps me get through the winter months/blues.

New 10'6" Avid steelhead rod and some pink/polka dot socks that don't fit.

My brother in law bought that reel last year and loves it.I have a cardinal series from Abu and it is a lot smoother than my real. But I am a huge fan of Abu Garcia and like just about everything on their line up. I just bought the Ike Dude off eBay for $25 and use it as a pan fish rod.

But I also have the silver max, pro max, and cardinal. Planing on buying the orra winch as a musky reel until I can get the Toro.

Oh. I know the bait caters you can always upgrade the bearings for better quality, right off the bat to improve performance. Sometimes you get lucky and get it for free. We had a musky expo here in MN last year and some reps where there from Abu. He told me if I brought in my reels he would oil/grease them. Inspect and replace bearing for free.. and be damned they did.

i know!  i'd been eyeballing it for a while actually because it was already marked down to $69.  i wanted to get rid of some items i was hanging on to so that i could free up some space and fishing funds to purchase the citica for my new cranking reel.  went back in last week and it was an additional 50% off the already marked down price so i grabbed it and ran for the register.

HOLY I wish I could land a deal like that.  $69 was even a sweet deal.

21 frogs would last me a solid 15 years lol

Ive had the same five or so for about five years lol...one is getting beat up and will need replaced this year unless the pickeral leave it alone which never happens lol

A new fish net that is really cool, and a G Loomis Bronzeback SMR811S-SP spinning rod.  I think this rod is going to be very good for the Ned rig.
