For around $100 Quantum Smoke 7' M/F 1/4-3/4 lure rating, 3.4oz weight, very well balanced with down to 5.5oz reel.

20 foot cane pole does the trick for me. 0 back bone.

Decide what type of cover, then weight of your trig, your preferred style of presentation. Then you can decide on length, power, finally action type...

7' mh/f - with either unicorn, dragon, or a Phoenix feather inside. ...

6 1/2' - 7' MF or MHF

 

If you want a specific recommendation we need a pricing point.

For weightless soft plastics I use a 7' MF spinning rod.  If it is

weighted a 7' MHF baitcaster.

 

 

 

 

Without a price a 7' MH x-fast would be choice.

 

My personal favorite G Loomis BCR 802C GLX.

I couldn't offer advice on the best rod.  I can offer advice, tho.  Give more information.  Price range.  Preferred lure weights.  Type of cover.  Desired length of rod.  Etc., etc.

Need a price point to start and either a 7' m fast or 7' mh fast. But if we're throwing names out there St Croix has some awesome rods. And the St Croix mojo bass spinnerbait stick works well for that sort of thing as it's the action and it's only 110 bucks. Now if you have a higher price point the St Croix LTB is the way to go in that action

either a medium with a sensitive, fast tip or a med hvy with an extra fast tip.. I personally like a 6'8 Med-Hvy Extra fast tip on a bait caster. On a spinner I like a 6'8-6'10 med-light or med with a x-fast tip. Check out the St Croix new Avid-x. I've got two of em, I really like em..

For more than 1/4 oz I use a Dobyns DX744

Less than 1/4 oz I use a 6'10 Fenwick EliteTech Medium-Light.

for fishing a T-Rig I would use a 7' medium heavy fast action. if your  fishing heavy cover its  a completely different story though.

Most of my worm fishing is done with at 7' MH/XF LTB, which is for sure the best T rigged worm rod I've ever owned. 

Most of my t-rigging is weightless and my 6'6" M/F St. Croix Legend Xtreme is by far the best I've ever used.
