    Mine was a very short and fat 5.89lb largemouth that thumped a 5/8oz homemade black and blue brush jig with a 3.5" black and blue Zman Batwingz trailer.

Florida- largemouth: 6lb 7oz, 24 inches long, skinny bass, huge head... on a storm wildeye live sand eel

 

New York- largemouth: 6lb 1oz, 21 inches long, chunky bass, booyah real gill spinnerbait (limited edition lure)

My biggest bass of 2014 was also my PB and it was just north of 7LB's.

 

Caught on a 1-2ft baby bass crank. Don't remember the brand, but I love that little lure now.

longest : 3/8 ounce Confidence Baits Draggin Head with a 10" Culprit Original Worm

My three biggest in 2014 were caught on the following:

- 6 lb 2 oz on Texas rigged summer craw Rage Craw with 1/4 oz green tungsten sinker
- 6 lb on 1/2 oz Siebert Big O brush green pumpkin jig, grasshopper skirt, and green pumpkin Rage Craw trailer
- 5 lb 7 oz on 1/2 oz Siebert Big O brush black and blue jig and skirt with black and blue flake rage craw

Largemouth 5.46lb on a 4.8" Keitech Swing Impact Fat with a 1/8oz swimbait hook.

I caught 6 Smallmouths over 5lbs this year (5.0-5.18lbs) all on Zoom Speedcraws Carolina Rigged with a 4-6' leader in 17-46'.  Biggest non Speedcraw Smallie was 4.87lbs on a Lucky Craft Pointer 100 this fall.

I caught the big ones on Super Fluke White Pearl and Havoc Bottom Hopper weightless texas rigged.

My biggest was on a Strike King 3/8 Sexy Shad spinnerbait. The only fish I caught on that spinnerbait all year in a small pond that has 100s of carp and almost no bass.

Last day out caught a 4lb-1oz with a Yamamoto Senko in Baby Bass

Largemouth 5.2 lb. on 1/2 Strike King Hack Attack Jig + Lobster
