Anyone Excited Or Ready For Free Agency?

Featured Replies

I know they say it starts Tuesday. I for one not to ready hearing that Gore might be heading to the Eagles. As a 49er fan I wanted him to continue his career and retire as a 49er. I'm guessing it's Hyde time which I'm anxious to see him.

I'm not sure what my team is doing , planning, or if they have one at all? They just being quiet. I know we sign Jerome Simpson and Dockett but I'm not sure what their plans are with Crabtree, Lupati, and a few others. I'm not sure if Justin Smith is retiring or not. If Stevie Johnson taking a pay cut.

Suh to the Phins....

Ooh. Him and Wake make for a nasty tandem.

yup. Super excited to have him in a miami uniform. He is one of the nastiest dt around.

Just hoping that the pats somehow get Wilfork back on a deal. Also, huge Indy fan too so curious to see what #87 ends up doing.

As a Hawks fan, I'm glad to see Gore go.  As an NFC fan, I'm not pleased to see the Eagles get both Gore and Maxwell.  They're going to be a scary team next year.

btw - It was well-known Maxwell was leaving, so no big surprise there.

The 'Hawks need a stellar tight end.  I hope they get Julius Thomas

Not many stellar tight ends in this draft class if I remember right. Seattle definitely needs to handle that through free agency. I'm not sure how they look with the cap though. Isn't Wilsons rookie contract ending soon? They're going to have to plan to eat a good chunk of money for him.

I was surprised the Patriots didn't extend Wilfork's contract, but that's business.  Maybe they're freeing up cash in attempt to keep Revis.  If he leaves, he'll be walking out the door with 3 rings.  McCourty also hits the free market, so it'll be interesting to see what the Patriots look like next year - inflated balls or not......

I am hoping polumolu retires a steeler and frees up cap space

Smith and Willis will be making announcements soon.

49ers will be a different team next year.  Anxious to see how this all works out.

Hey Glenn,

How bout Jimmy Graham. Big boost for Seattle once it's signed. Had to cough up Unger and a few picks for him. Crazy trade on the Saints end.

Hope Murray will stay in the big D but it looks like might not happen :sad78:

im an eagles fan so i was looking forward to seeing gore come here since getting rid of mccoy, but i heard the deal fell throw and now he's talking with the colts but we just got rid or nick roles (wasn't a big fan anyway) but I'm not a fan of sam bradford either and sanchez is one of the most inconsistent QBs in the league so this year I'm thinking of a rebuild season hopefully 8-8 but ill be happy with anything as long as we beat dallas in the division

I cannot believe what I am seeing in free agency. I don't recall this many stars moving to new teams. So far the Graham move is the shocker. Followed by the Chip Kelly wholesale changes.

The Graham trade is scary if your playing in that division which my team does...

Bradford will most likely never wear an eagles uniform, the move was done solely for the picks in an attempt to package them to move up so Chip can get his guy.  I am not a fan of the McCoy trade now that Gore changed his mind and is going to Indy.  I am not sure why they didn't open up the checkbook a little bit and sign Maclin because they had 51M under the cap.

If Kelly hadn't shown that he has the ability to coach over the past two seasons, i would be livid but I gotta give credit to a guy who is doing it his way.  I see two outcomes, he goes down as a legend in Philly or he will need the national guard to go to his car at the Linc.....there is no middle ground anymore with what he has done.

As a fan of The Superbowl Champion New England Patriots ~ my brain hurts.

I guess the saving grace may be that the Coach & the Quarterback haven't left . . . . yet.

Revis back to the Jets. Probably his last big fat contract. Went chasing the cash. Guess I can't blame him.

i would love to see us get mariota only because he would fit in our offense great if he can compete in the next level, but i think its a long shot and we need to pick up a good WRs because right now were running low and for RBs i love sproles he's a great runner and can stop on a dime but idk if he can carry the ball 20-30 times a game because he is only like 5'6 and for chip himself he's a smart guy and I'm hoping he knows what he's doing
