I'm from the South East part of the state where we have a lot of nice waters to fish in. I've always been a fan of bass fishing, but just got back into it after five years. I'm looking forward to reading and learning more about the sport in addition to seeing how well everyone here does on the water.

    It's beginning to get good. I fished a small tournament this morning and finished in second place for big bass with one that was 3.64. The guy who beat me out had one that was 3.84 I believe it was. I caught three in all this morning.

    Good job that's a nice fish! It looks like it's tail is messed up a little. Probobly got attacked by a bird.

    Yeah I was getting a few "bumps" on previous casts, so I knew there was something there. On my fifth cast into the area she hit. I figure she was laying on a bed and finally got irritated enough that she bit.

    Dang! Well, I don't suppose he is too bad of a guy. If he gets sideways I will just have to post photos of him in his dirt track car on its roof  :laugh5:

    Hi! Good fishing in the refuge in SE AR. I've had some of my best days on an unnamed oxbow banging spinnerbaits off cypress knees! It's one of my favorite places to go!
