Yep, true in the southeastern part of the state as well.

Pre spawn cold water I fish it even before it hits 50 Degree water temps

I've made best use of them from late winter through summer peak (about June here). I have no good reasons that I can think of why they aren't a summer and fall bait for me -except maybe vegetation and filamentous algae density.

This! I was curious to throw my Super Spot last week. Well, it paid off...

Any time BUT winter. Winter here is frozen over. "Burning" a lipless in cold water won't get you far either. When the water is cold...(I'm not talking pansy Florida cold, hahaha) fish are sluggish, so I fish it slower, so I might yo yo it or fish it slow in the chill.

Wind is a necessity (to me). Overcast means flashy gold, clear or partly cloudy is a sexy shad or gill pattern.

I tend to fish lipless cranks a lot post spawn and early summer. I like to use them for suspended fish off points or bounce them off the bottom of same points .

Overcast, but that's just my preference. I'll throw them as long as there is wind.

Early Spring and Late fall.

All season long!! I love them in the summer to search points, just like in spring of fall, you can rip it off the bottom and let it fall yo-yo style or burn it over grass beds. If you're only using them in spring and fall then you're missing out, especially post spawn when the fish scatter and are hard to locate, fan casting a lipless crank will cover water and will pick off the active fish and possibly lead to a pattern if you notice fish coming off of wood or rock more often.

Never had much luck with them in  our pre-spawn here..early Summer late May to early July when i have best results
