Hey, all! I'll be away for a few days starting this afternoon. I'm going to have surgery on my back to hopefully correct a severe case of spinal stenosis and a couple of bulging disks. Surgery happens Fri. morning. If all goes well, I'll be back home sometime on Saturday.

 

I'm hoping for relief from the constant pain and also to be able to go fishing again.

We'll be thinking about you bud. I had shoulder surgery last year and so happy I did. I fish pain free now. Hope yours goes just as well. Keep us posted when you can.

I'm back home today. The surgery went well, and I'm already feeling better than I have in months. I can stand up straight without pain for the first time since last August. The doc says I should be able to get back to some light fishing in about a week!

Congrats. If I were you I would just catch dinks for the first few weeks. Leave the big fish for us healthy people.
