What did you get your dad, or what did you get?  My dad's always really difficult to buy stuff for, he has just about everything.  So we took him to a Minor League Baseball game, and I got him a fly tying organizer.

 

Remember, this is not a competition.   And yes I spelled "Father's" incorrectly in the topic title on purpose. 

I decided to buy my dad a Shakespeare Catch more fish trout pole, it wasn't expensive at all, but hey I'm trying to get my dad into fishing so we can go out more and spend time, what better thing to do then fish? It came with a tackle box setup. For beginners, but hey it's a start... You have yourself a good day (:

I am in tears laughing ... a priceless "d**n spellcheck moment"

We don't do gifts (my dad and grandfather) but have a call to chat for a bit.  My kids got me chocolate ... 70% dark chocolate is where it's at.  

My girls go me the BPS Culling System. Loved it! I got my dad a new spot light and a "don't tread on me" shirt. 

The kids and I visited my dad for a bit. They got me the usual kindergarten and pre K crafts a rock painted with their pic on it that says "you rock dad". The GF bought me a hoodie that says "dad the man the myth the fishing legend" and a T that says " some people wait their whole life's to meet a fishing partner I raised mine"

My son and I (also a Dad) spent the day wading a creek with the wives and kids and having a nice dinner.  (Another gift from above).

Given my username, I feel obliged to reply.  I take Beano or Gas-X.

It was almost like Christmas.  My wife and kids got me a Megabass Pop Max, a new worm tackle bag, a pack of senkos, some bullet weights, and 3 shirts (1 of them for fishing).  My daughter made me a cake. 

 

Oh ya, we did have a big storm Sunday morning.  The almighty brought me a tree through my roof.  I spent the rest of my fathers day sawing and cutting wood.  I also went through two boxes of nails and a big roll of duck tape. 

 

Despite everything, it was a great day.  I am thankful to have a great family. 

I got a grill, and we got my dad a grill. 

Every day is farters' day.
