I just thought I would snap a shot of a bass that my wife mounted for me in 1979.

Now take note, that though over the years, it has become somewhat discolored.

Also, I would like to point out that she had never attempted anything like this before,

and never has since. They used to sell kits, that would supply enough whatever, to mount

one ten pound bass, or two five pound bass. So she wanted to buy a kit and give it a try.

This bass weighed just a shade over 4# on a butcher scale. I just want to say, all things

considered, I think she did an awesome job. Nearly 37 years have passed and it's still here.

Oh, and so is she, by the way.

A mount is a nice way to remember a good fish caught but this is extra special because your wife made it for you. I can understand why you shared it with us.

She did a fantastic job.A nice fish and a woman that will take time to mount it for you.Both great catches!

Well, you'd be a pretty shoddy fisherman if you had divorced the lady who mounted a fish for you. You're living the dream.
